I will keep monitoring to see if the behaviour of the anode drain current continues once FC0 has stabilized. If the anode drain current keeps increasing maybe we will observe the same failure from the previous FEBIAD.

TSG:IG1 - Filament switched over. Cable to ion gauge is burnt. Black wire inside the housing had melted along with the edges of the plastic. Replaced the entire cable & reconnected the ion gauge to the controller.

Using CB2, went from 200V to 900V in steps of 100V and saw nothing on the x axis. This seems to indicate x axis scanner is broken. Proceeding without x axis readout. Also tried with CB1 steerers, same effect.

p2n target heated over the weekend after the connections between the bottom target legs and the copper connector has been modified from rivets to M3 screws. Target hold current nicely with no major voltage spikes.

The plan now is to cycle the current heating few times to "stress test" the target.

Inserted a used (heating) LP-FEBIAD target with a basic heat shield assembly with no end plate foil on the window side to observe heating. The P2N Coil / TGHT connections were added.

Test whether the TS connections are affecting the P2N heating or if it's the P2N target itself.

-Heat the TGHT only, observe, then ramp down.

-Heat Coil only, observe, then ramp down.

-Heat TGHT w/ Coil, observe, then ramp down.

Note* Heating should be even across the target. Elog & take pictures.
