Monday, December 19, 2022, 12:06 : Tomislav changed the polarity of the anode power supply last week and everything has been closed up again. The anode wire was switched to feedthru J and the short there removed. Forgot to put the short on the tube before closing the top but it should be ok for these tests since it has the resistor still installed to keep it at some potential. Pumping out gas lines.

Using CTL FEBIAD for thermocouple access. Gas line running into ion source. Anode is run under the coil w/ source cup modification. No welding. 1mm PE spacer installed. 3 layers of Ta foil added to the HP-FEBIAD-CTL on the center block. Edge fins exposed.

Using CTL FEBIAD for thermocouple access. Gas line running into ion source. Anode is run under the coil w/ source cup modification. No welding. 1mm PE spacer installed. 3 layers of Ta foil added to the HP-FEBIAD-CTL.
