vacuum leak check on TM4 service cap in ITW was done this morning.   leak detector leak rate 0.0XE-9 atm.cc/sec. No leak on TM4 service cap module top.

ITW primary and secondary vacuum vessel leak check for  2025 shut down has been done. Also,TM4 internal water line helium pressure test has been finished.  Both results are normal. There are two small old leak on EXit 1 and Exit2 module top plate  o-ring under 1Xe-8 atm.cc/sec which we knoew in past years test. resin spray on leak  area reduce the leak ratee below 5Xe-9 atm.cc/sec. No concern on these small leak.   See attachment  for detail results.

Two of resin tank filter cartridges(supply and return) are changed today. Old cartridges and bagged and tagged. The contact field on them are 650usv/hr. The new cartridges are fiber-glass, Triumf store item. After replacement, the field on contact with the filter case are about 10 usv/hr. But the field on contact with top resin tank  has been increased from 45usv/hr  to 225 usv/hr

 The flow rate is relatively stable before and after change. See attachment

The high active water resistivity took a long time to recover after the upgrade to the water cooling circuit. The system needed about a month (from end February to end March) to recover to nominal values. See attached plot of archiver data.

TM1 has now been connected in ITW and the water resistivity remains > 8 MOhm cm, which should allow normal operation. However, the resin is suspected to be approaching end of life. Work is ongoing to get a new replacement resin tank.

High active water system  was  checked before restart. A small water leak on resin can supply valve was found. It is fixed. MP1 and MP2 were started and checked separately. System pressure and flow rate are normal.MP1 is in operation now.

The old resin tank has been stored in silo since last year March.  Without crane the tank up, We use the pole monitor measured the field around the bottom of the tank in silo. The average contact field on the bottom is about 4.0msv/hr. @0.5meter , the field is about  900usv/hr. It is still too hot to remove it.

HALCW resin can flow meter replacement is done. Less that 100 mL water was drained to a small tray during the job. RPG checked the water. Less than 20 counts. Water are dumped the high active sump.   The HALCW MP1 is started. No leak on new gauges and fittings. Old gauge is labeled , bagged, and stored in TH.

New IGLIS cables installation is done. Two bundle of new cables are pulled from ITE to electrical room. They are in one PVC conduit. The old cables are not removed yet. I will pull old cables out when new cables are installed onto device in ITE Faraday cage.

Resistance measurements on each electrical feedthroughs (A,B,C,D,E,I,P,Q,R,U,60kV,ground) taken with no target or no short attached to the module. Results as expected:

P-Q = 6.439 mOhm

R-U = 6.019 mOhm

All other combinations = Open Loop

Annual ITE water signal interlock check is done.  HS, TAR, TUBE, MSP, EE, COIL 1, containment box window, HVC1, HVC2, 2A window, 2A  shielding plug, 2A dump, 2A collimator, and 2A tank water signal interlock are checked.   Everything is working properly.  

2021-06-22. Annual ITW water signal interlock check is done,  HS, TAR, MSP,  EE, COIL1 , containment box window, HVC1 , HVC2, 2A window, 2A shielding plug, 2A dump, 2A collimator, and 2A tank water signal interlock are checked. Everything works fine.
