Helium pressure test on TM1 HS water line at CS is done. 80psi helium with LD 0.0xE-9 atm.cc/sec. 3 minutes test and no response on LD. The line is leak tight.

I did the helium pressure  test  on TM2 tube heater (+) water line  with blank off(C-seal) installed on  water block at CS.The leak detector was hooked directly to the top of the module this time. So base leak rate and base pressure were at the bottom scale on LD. 30 -80 psi helium was applied to the D lines(both side)  with10 psi   increasing each time. There is no any tiny response hasbeen found during the test. The lines are perfectly sealed. Also i sprayed the helium on the top of the service cap .All  air to vacuum seals on the top are good either. See attachment pictures.

Pumped down the gas lines in ITE on Tuesday Nov. 28 2023 and opened the CF4 bottle valves. Missed the small section between the regulator and SV2 though, so will probably redo it.

Pumped down again on Dec. 12 2023. Was taking a long time so might not be as good as earlier. Maybe there is a leak in there...

argon is being supplied at 6 psi to TM4.

The blocks have been removed from the west target station. The fields at the top of the target pit at the railing at waist level is about 80uSv/hr, Turbo pumps are about 805uSv/hr, backing lines for the turbos about a 1mSv/hr and the average field in the area of work down in the pit is about 600 to 750uSv/hr. The proton beam went off at 10:45 on December 2nd, these measurements were done at 09:00 on December 3rd.

 

Another set of field measurement was done at the west target station. At the top of the west target station at the railing the field ranged from 50 to 70 uSv/hr. The turbo pumps had field of about 650uSv/hr, the area over the dump was about 750uSv/hr, the area over the HV cover and the south side was about 450uSv/hr. These measurements were done at 13:15 on December 3rd.

Ramping up HV to ~30kV, encountered problems and had to drop back to 28kV. No response on IG1 or anything else during sparks. Lots of charging-type behaviour on the bias current. Protons at 55uA

Tuesday, September 17, 2019, 02:53 : Proton beam trip initially settled the bias current down, but then current began climbing pretty steeply with protons still off

Tuesday, September 17, 2019, 03:28 : Protons dropped to 40uA from 55uA, Bias current is much more stable and no sparks for 25mins

Tuesday, September 17, 2019, 03:36 : Raising voltage easy to about 33.5kV then instability and sparking similar to around 31kV at 55uA p+

Tuesday, September 17, 2019, 04:45 : Lowered protons to 25uA and no sparks though the current is not stable
