915   Monday, April 04, 2022, 20:56 Carla Babcock       wiring reverted for cathode-bias FEBIAD

Wiring which was changed to run the mass marker tests has been reverted:

  • anode bias cable connected to "B"
  • tube negative attached to HV common through "B" to "F" connection

Ready for cathode biased FEBIAD operation.

  952   Monday, December 19, 2022, 12:49 Carla Babcock HP-FEBIAD     HP-FEBIAD tests

Monday, December 19, 2022, 12:06 : Tomislav changed the polarity of the anode power supply last week and everything has been closed up again. The anode wire was switched to feedthru J and the short there removed. Forgot to put the short on the tube before closing the top but it should be ok for these tests since it has the resistor still installed to keep it at some potential. Pumping out gas lines.

Monday, December 19, 2022, 12:46 : Anode voltage ramped to 500V no problems. BIAS\EE\EL at 30kV\-1kV\13kV. Starting heaters ramping to TGHT=600A TBHT=290A.

Tuesday, December 20, 2022, 08:23 : Cancelled heater ramp at 500A yesterday, resuming now.

Wednesday, December 21, 2022, 14:48 : Everything ramped down

953   Wednesday, December 21, 2022, 17:06 Carla Babcock       Prep for power outage

Source and beamline power supplies turned off in EPICS

HV cage power off

Magnet ramped down and power supplies turned off manually (bira and tdk lambda)

VME crates and kepco turned off

Water lines closed

Will turn off pumps remotely later. Left PLC on
