Entered south hot cell Wednesday and replaced the pre-filter air filter as well as the front two light bulbs. Also removed two bags of compressible garbage, one bag of metal, and of course the bagged air filter (as Joe M. expressed as interest in havung it).

Inital checks found approximately 4000 cpm on the cell side of the temporary Al. panel used during the cell entry, 2000 cpm on the tacky mats layed out beside the work area but nothing on the floor under the plastic that had been layed down for the job.

The spent UO#3 was moved from the south hot cell to the storage vault. It was in pail 98 and placed in spot 1A of the vault, the field measured upon removal from the hot cell were 42mSv/hr. See attached PDF for vault details.

UCx#4 has been moved from the south hot cell to the spent target vault. The target was placed in pail #99 and now resides in spot 3C of the vault. It measured 55.3mSv/hr at ~1m from the hot cell. See attached PDF for further spent target vault details.

Grant and I replaced the conditioning station broken  srcoll pump with a refurbished scroll pump which is supplied by vacuum group. The replaced pump is bagged and waiting for RPG further survey in target hall . The target hall is survey after the job, and everything is fine.

The NiO #1 spent target was placed into storage today. It is in pail number 01 (101 on Vault Status page) and located in slot 4A of the vault. It was 35.5 mSv/hr upon removal from the south hot cell. See attached PDF for vault details.

The F-308 have been cleaned and serviced. There were three F-308's that came back with some contamination.#13, #15 and #19 were found to have contamination. They were decontaminated. All of the loose contamination was removed. There is still some fixed contamination. The levels of contamination are low enough to still be used for shipping spent targets. They have been moved to the north hot cell area and are ready for to be filled with spent targets. 

This week six targets and the two source trays were assayed and surveyed from the storage vault. see attached PDF for details.

Nb#7 was moved from the south hot cell to the target storage vault. The target was placed in pail #103 in slot 6A of the vault and had a reading of 178 mSv/hr upon removal from the south hot cell. See attached PDF for full vault details.

Five spent targets have been moved from the storage vault to the mini storage vault. The five targets are as follows: SiC #25, Ta #34, Ta #32, Ta #31, Nb #4. See the attached PDFs for full details.

On Nov 20th the 5 targets in mini storage have been moved to the F-308s, those F-308s have since been moved to the hot cell ante room. They will sit there until Monday.

The target was inspected today.

It was found that the target tube had broken on both sides of the centre block in the region that contain target material. The Ta-foil heat shield was removed from the let side tube to allow inspection.

UCx #5 has been moved from the south hot cell to the storage vault. It is in Pail 102, in spot 2A of the vault and had a field of 32.6mSv/hr upon extraction from the south hot cell. See attached PDF for vault details.

I replaced all high active water system magnetic pedal wheels in ITW and ITE. This is a preventive maintenance job we planned for this winter shut down.

TiC #3 was moved from the south hot cell in to the vault storage today, it was placed in slot 4B and was in pail #104, it had a reading of 98.7mSv/hr upon removal from the south hot cell. See attached PDF for vault details.

I have inserted the test target for TM4 and the CS into the hot cell.

I had some concerns about the condition of the target which I have discussed with Pierre and he has cleared. Pictures are attached.

the switches and the solenoid are all wire up to 24VDC, when you open either of the little doors the solenoid switches this is also true if there is a power loss. currently the solenoid is powered.

Edi and I replaced the broken ITH MP1 in target hall with a new pump. The old pump was leak on oil. There were no oil had been left in the old pump by checking the sight glass.Thats the reason of  the pump  failure.The tray which the old pump sat on was full of leaking oil ( highly contaminated ). The old pump was bagged in 3 thick plastic bags ,and the tray was cleaned before the new pump was installed. The working area had been cleaned up and surveyed couple of times after the job. Everything is good. The new pump had been tested after the installation. It works fine.

ITW EX1 has been moved from the west target station to the south hot cell for the seal replacement on the west station.

ITW EX1 have been moved back to the west target station from the south hot cell.
