Problem: Some devices turn off unexpectedly and sometimes without any obvious trigger. In the past, the only time this was an issue
was during mass scans. Now with the automation of measurements, this is a major problem as it prevents longer parameter scans.

Tuesday, June 25, 2019, 16:15: While inspecting the 9-pin connection with Ferran, it was noticed how two braided cables were burnt out pretty bad to
the point they were separated in half (see attached pictures). Additionally the plastic insulator for the anode wire was melted.

Pressure around 140 mTorr. The pressure started increasing early November 2nd. Will continue to monitor.

The fan in the EZL power supply is making a terrible noise - keep an eye on it, it sounds like it might give up soon.

Wednesday, February 07, 2018, 08:40: A 75 kV Glassman power supply was installed in the rack for use in further HV testing.
-The 75kV power supply is linked into the keyed interlock system. The key & switch labelled BIAS/EZL will unlock it.
-The PS is currently not connected to the epics controls and can only be adjusted manually. |
