Today cleaning and polishing pads were inserted into the hot cell.
Module side waterblock jig installation was attempted however one of the locking tabs/latches (ITA2405?) came undone/fell off. Luckily, I had old,
obsolete jigs in the hot cell so I was able to remove parts I needed from an old one and rebuild the current one. |

Fiberglass that fell out yesterday was put back in place (as well as possible).
Cleaning took place this morning with excellent results. Cleaning was performed with red scotch brite on the cleaning tool, air pressure at 40
psi while running, with one 60 second cycle. Three blocks (EE, HS and Window) needed a second pass to remove the indium. |

There was an external water leak in ITW during the last beam running time. The leak started after the shielding blocks transfer(May 22). It cause a constantly
water level drop on S-tank(0.5 "/day average). Today , after the blocks are moved , the leak source has been found. Water seeped through a fitting
on ITW dump circuit pressure gauge. The leak water slowly flow around the TM1 on the tank flange. most of them are dried out, but left some stain on dump |

Window waterline has been successfully connected using 1 1/2 inch long non-blunt start 1/4-28 bolts.
All bolt torques have been checked with dial torque wrench and are confirmed to be tight to 90 in lbs. |

The master wrist/tong cable has been replaced on the left manipulator. Everything appears to function well so far. |

Both halves of the water block jigs have been removed and the module is now ready for base vacuum leak and electrical checks.
During removal of the jigs the fiberglass that had been "shoved" by hand in between two of the lines in the early 2000's fell out again. |

The following circuits have been vacuum leak checked and have not registered any leaks:
Circuit D, C, B, A, Coil2, EE, Ground Electrode, Mounting Support plate, Coil 1.
Left are Heat Shield and Window circuits which will be checked after blank offs are installed on the vcr terminations. |

On June 25th the following work was completed:
Optics tray was installed into TM2. The lower fastener on the vertical cable tray (IRH1585) needed to be removed and vertical cable tray rotated
upwards as optics tray would not clear cable tray. Optics tray was intstaled, cable tray repositioned and screw re-inserted. |

There is an air to vacuum leak on TM2 service cap side panel which we moved out during the TM2 wiring job. The CS pumps are stopped now. The CS will
be vented soon. The seal on this panel has to been changed.
2016-06-30. The o-ring seal on this panel(PNG1 and steerers) is replaced and leak checked. No leak now. |
