|
ESC was called out again to inspect the chiller as it was showing the same problem as before. This time when started one fan came on (this is not what
happened last time) but the fan controlled by the VFD did not. It was eventually traced to a relay that has been replaced. The system was tested as best
it could without a load and appears to be working. It will be difficult to tell until a heat load is in place if the fix has solved everything. |

High active water system is refilled. Air are drained out of system before pump to be started. Following sequence are used to bring the whole system
back to operation:
1. close ITE , open ITW. Switch on the pump. Only 2A beam line related 5 water circuits are in loop in ITW. Switch off pump when system pressure |

I reconnected the entrance module back to the ITE station. All diagnostic cables, turbo- pump, air lines, water lines on ITE entrance module and BL2A3
window are connected back. |

Wednesday, September 24, 2014, 15:16, David Wang, ITE, Standard Operation, TM4, Ta#44, Reconnected TM4 in ITE.
|
TM4 has been reconnected back to ITE. I started all turbo pumps on ITE and TM4. The ITE TP4s was extremely difficult to start. This pump is new, and
was replaced before the last ITE beam time on July. After several times try and starting mode switch, it is started. Its temperature and current
draw showed on controller and very good after the start. The current draw on ITE TP1s is s a little bit high and unstable. I will keep watching on |
Wednesday, July 02, 2014, 14:29, David Wang, ITE, Standard Operation, , , Reconnected TM3 in ITE.
|
I reconnected TM3 in ITE. All turbo pumps have been started. The water supply to TM3 only in ITE. The HV keys are back to electrical room. |

|
TCS cooling polyurethane lines have been re-routed to solve to HV sparking issue on old configuration between lines and bais plate. New re-routed
system is tested to 70KV without spark. No leak has been found on new lines after the test.
ECO 4369, drawings and models IRH1715, IRH1716 have been issued and released for this job. Drawings and Models are located in PDM-ISAC1 -TCS polyurethane |

TM4 in conditioning station with no source tray, extraction electrode set to HV bias. Brought up to 30kV over the weekend by ISAC ops with no issues.
BIAS=30kV
EL=15kV |

Ramped down the bias so David could remove the HV cover and lock out the target hall.
Ramped back up to BIAS / EL = 50kV / 26kV quickly with no sparks.

Thursday, September 26, 2013, 15:00, Bevan Moss, Conditioning Station, Standard Operation, TM3, NiO#2, RGA not connecting
|
Following the helium pressure test Don attempted to connect to the RGA via the network. He was unable to do so. This scan was desired so a pre
and post water scan could be compared to indicate if there was any leaking. It has been decided to carry on as the HV and HP tests are of greater importance.
Don will continue to investigate the RGA. Travis inspected from the conditioning station roof and determined that the RGA is getting power. |
