|
The heat shield circuit was pressurized with air (15-20 psi) and snoop applied to the water block joint and brazes. Bubbles formed at the joint between
the two water blocks indicating that the leak is a c seal problem. Pictures attached but also on docushare Collection-11285. |

|
The C2 circuit (coil 2) water lines and blocks have been revoed from TM4.
Water block jig could not be used as the window water block connection was nowhere near fitting into the jig (IMG_1224 image below) and
therefore caused an interference causing the rest of the blocks to not mate with the jig. A different tool that has never been used was implimented and |

Firday, November 8 all water blocks (excluding I and K) were blanked off and vacuum leak checked. No responses were found. (First Picture)
I and K could not be blanked off without removal of the water block jig. Also, I dropped one of the blank offs onto the table, so one line could
not be blanked off until a new clean blank off was inserted into the cell. In addition, there was still reminace of a bolt in block Ias it aslo could not |

|
Using in cell camera and transit the suspect line on the steerers was inspected as best as possible. An existing photo of the complete steerers before
installation was used for comparison. The wiring and beading inspected today showed no obvious problems, breaks or spots where there may be a short. In
comparison to the photo from construction, what we could see of the steerers looked identical to the original installation. |

Ta #47 has been removed from TM4.
One containment box cover bolt would not come out. Upon attempted removal with the stud remover the bolt sheared...which is not uncommon...just
hasn't happened in many years...CBB being stuck or shearing. |

|
The repair/cable replacement on the east manipulator is now complete.
Yesterday's initail cable replacement went very well however, due to a minor glich, we were unable to test the tong movement until I was out of
the hot cell. Tong did not fully close and felt like there was a "hard stop" at a repeatable spot in the closing of the tong. Upon further |

Ta#42 has been installed onto TM4. The "new" 9 pin connector was not an issue...attually went on better than any other previous one. Leaving
the mounting screws loose on the target half allowed use of the manipulator to center the pins and insert them with ease. |
