TM#4 has been moved from the east target station to the south hot cell.

ITE venting is in processing.

ITW TP1 can not be started yesterday. Also, TP1S was difficult to start , and had a high current draw after.  We changed both of them in pit today. TP1 and TP1S are started successfully after replacement.

An inspection was performed on drive systems for both storage vaults (main and mini) by Adam Newsome and Dan McDonald. The functionality was not tested. Overall, nothing concerning was discovered.

Main Storage Vault:

• Chain inspected (OK) and lubricated
• Gearbox inspected - OK
• All drive system set screws checked and tightened (note: chain drive screw slightly loose)
• Sprocket alignment checked - OK
• Limit switches checked - OK
• Emergency close mechanism cable checked - OK

Mini-Storage:

• Chain inspected - OK
• Set screw checked - OK
• Gearbox inspected - OK (need inventory/spare in stock)
• Roller wheels checked - OK

 TM#2 with the graphite #1 target has been moved from the south hot cell to the west target station.

Dan and I did the SMP annual  maintenance service today. Lid open/close , vessel rotation and limit switch check, lubricate chains, tighten fasteners, and visual inspection.  Everything works fine.

ITE TP3 is replaced. ITE is under vacuum again. All turbo pumps are started successfully. Current draw on pumps are normal so far.

TM4 has been disconnected in ITE. Vacuum pumps and gauge are not disconnected yet.

Remotely remove TM2 from ITW to SHC. The move is good.  Shielding plug is put back to ITW.

 TM#2 with the graphite #1 target has been moved from the south hot cell to the west target station.

Target to HS is 400 ohm. The rest check is good. See attachment.

Target C#1 has been installed on TM4 with new high current fasteners torqued to 130in lbs.

 TM#2 with no target has been moved from the south west silo to the south hot cell.

  ITW - 2A2

o    2A2DSP-TC3 - not connected in El room

o    2A2COL-TC2 - does not work inside module

o    2A2COL-TC3 - does not work inside module

·         ITE - 2A3

o    2A3COL-TC3 - works, but plug needs repair in ITE pit

 Anders and I checked ITW and ITE thermocouple status. See result above.  Frank and I will fix the 2A3COL-TC3 loose cable to plug issue.

Jason Sargeant mopped up TH floor this morning. The mop head was checked after the job. There are 1500 counts on it. He think this level is reasonable low. 3000 counts would be normal in past.

Three manual valves are closed on TCS water system return line in experimental hall. See attachments. It is for TCS TK2 water level slow drop trouble shooting.  These valves will be opened again right after troubleshooting.  

TCS TK2 water level no change(11.1 inches) in this week after valves are closed. I will keep these three valves closed for one more week.

I opened these valves. In two week times, The TK2 level dropped 0.1 inches. The water level change could be a result of evaporation of water in system. We will keep watching on it.

Edi calibrated ITH:CM6, CM6S and ITM:CM3. By the same time,  ITH:MP1 and MP2  lubricate oil level are checked. Everything looks fine. No oil  leak on both pumps. 

Tom Kauss corrected the TH crane  festoon cable loops. He lubricated festoon cable wheels as well.    The maintenance is done.

A water leak was found on a fitting connecting ITW dump return line pressure gauge on top of exit module. TM tank flange, o-ring slot and o-ring were contaminated by water and water rust. Frank and I cleaned the flange and o-ring slot . We changed a new TM tank o-ring, vacuumed around other 3 module flanges. The leak fittings with pressure gauges were removed . I put a blind cap on removed fitting spot.. Water are switched back to ITW. No leak on blind cap.
