David Wang | ITE | Repair | TM4 | | TM4 steerers staus after" left " grounding issue, and first stage investigation |
Left (short) is switched with bottom. So on module:
"Left" is bottom in module actually
"Bottom and Right" is Left and right in module actually.
For the connection in ITE:
Left cable is connected to "left" ( bottom in module actually)
Top cable is connected to " Bottom and Right"( left and right in module actually)
Bottom and Right cable is connected to "Top" which is top in module.
Frank and I removed the panel, disconnected the "Left"cable inside panel, and checked cable to ground resistance. "Left "is dead short to ground on ohmmeter check still. So the short could be on cable or inside source tray. Further investigation is planned to confirm the short location. |

Matthew Gareau | North Hot-Cell | Repair | | | Ratcheting repair issues with both left and right master |
The were issues with both left and right master ratcheting;
- the left handle was getting stuck in a close position when there was a higher ratcheting tension added
- the right ratcheting was not tightening preventing proper use of the manipulator
Chad and myself were able to identify a missing set screw for the tong cable.
Once this was added the issue with the left master ratcheting seems to be solved.
Lubricant was added to the left master ratchet and this seems to solve this problem as well.
There was also an observation of missing set screws on the spare manipulator for attaching the wrist to the ratcheting handle, which will need to be ordered and attached.

Matthew Gareau | North Hot-Cell | Development | | | NHC USB connection |
24/Noc/2020
USB was discovered to be in the reverse direction and will need to be change around to become operational
01/Dec/2020
USB was pulled from conduit
While attempting to re-pull the USB in the correction direction, the ethernet cable was damaged and need to be replaced,
(thanks to the Hubert's team for the wire help)
It was decided that it was too problematic to re-pull the wires with all other wires in the way. Therefore all the wires were removed from the operator control panel, and pulled so that the USB, USB power cord, and ethernet could be re-pulled all together.
However, even once all the wires were re-pulled and reconnected it was discovered that the USB had become damaged, and was removed again.
23/Dec/2020
- A new conduit was added through to the NHC, for only the USB
- USB was fed through, reconnected, and tested
- Putty will need to be added around the conduit to ensure a good seal into NHC |

Frank and I finished ITE and TM4 primary and secondary vacuum vessel leak check. LD bease leak rate 0.0x-9atm.cc/sec. No leak has been found. Also, All TM4 water lines have been pressurized with 70psi helium fro 3 minutes on each circuit. All water lines in TM4 are good. No resopne on LD during test. |

David Wang | ITE | Standard Operation | | | ITE HV test. |
ITE annual HV test is done. No module in station. The bias power supply has been ramped up to 49KV on control page. We still have voltage limit issue on this PS at 48KV so it only can go to 47.7 KV on PS panel. No major spark during test.. The test result is same as last year test which was did in March 2020. |

David Wang | South Hot-Cell | Repair | TM4 | | TM4 steers short investigation. |
Cables were disconnected for steers in containment box. The Megga measurement (500V) result from the top of the module:
Left to right: OL, left to top OL, left to bottom OL, right to top OL, right to bottom OL, Top to bottom OL. And all of them to ground are OL. No short on cables from module top to steers itself. The short should be inside the steers. It will be confirmed with directly test on steers. |

Old resin can: 0.5 meter 360 degree rotation above silo area, 350u sv/hr. On contact 3.0 to 3.5 msv/hr. It was replaced during 2017 winter shut down, and stored in silo since then.
2a window RH clamp: 0.5 meter, 160 usv/hr. On contact, hottest spot 3.5msv/hr, general,1.8 msv/hr.
Both of them were raise out of storage silo with TH crane. Pole monitor was used for field check. |

TM2 at SMP under vacuum. TM4 at silo. Frank and I did the tests. Everything is fine on TM4 check. On TM2, all mega test at 500V are around 200K ohms which is so abnormal. We will move TM2 to TCS and start investigation there. |
