Chad and I did the TM4 heat shield leak check yesterday at SHC. The leak detector was pumped to 4.6 xE-9atm.cc/sec, and 0.0xE-4 torr after 1.5 hours
pumping. Chad sprayed helium twice on both VCR fittings. There is no response had been found during each 45 seconds waiting time. Since the module moved
to ITE directly,we didnt have helium pressure test this time. I  would say thee heat shield circuit is leak tight. so far.
Entry  Wednesday, March 27, 2013, 11:49, David Wang, ITE, Standard Operation, TM4, Sic LIS-RFQ , Connected TM4 in ITE
TM4 has been reconnected to ITE after the module moving. The roughing is started . The water will be supplied to ITE after  testing  the water
pumps . The water interlock check will be done on next week also.

Electrical check of TM#4 SiC#28 (RFQ Target) has been completed. It passed the standard electrical checks for the target part, but the electrical check
for the RFQ part is suspect, see the attached PDF for the details.

After few hickups the TCS was successfuly commissioned.
In the morning, in the middle of the heaters conditioning: 360A/250A for  the TGHT/TBHT, the target heater PS tripped and it didn't recover  immediately.
I cannot tell if the card is still OK. Before this even, there were few bias current sparks created when the ionized tube was raised above 250A; this also

Today, the commissioning of the TCS went well. The water/vacuum interlocks were checked OK. Then, the TCS was HV conditioned up to 33kV.
Tomorrow, the heaters will be ramped up.
Entry  Wednesday, March 20, 2013, 08:19, David Wang, Conditioning Station, Repair, TM4, , Leak check new installed TM4 TP1 at conditioning station.
I leak checked new installed TM4 TP1 at conditioning station. The CS vacuum gauges reading were at 1.0-1.5xE-6 torr . Leak detector base leak rate 0.0xe-9atm.cc/sec,
base pressure 0.0xe-4torr. I sprayed helium around the pump  inlet flange and KF 25 pump outlet flange to pump joint. There is no response on leak
detector. The new installed TP1 is leak tight.

Turbo Pumps have been started and are in normal operation. TP1 which has recently been replaced was started in soft start and had no issues. TP2
was started normally and tripped prior to reaching speed. It was left for a while and restarted. When restarted it was still at 17KRPM, it reached normal
operation.

The conditioning station has been vented with argon. Time taken is not known but it is less than 3 hours. See attached picture for convectron gauge

We went to test the PS and supplied the required 480V and turned the local switch to on. At this point nothing happened, the

Over the weekend Turbo pump one failed. It was attempted to restart the turbo in soft start but that also failed. Although the Vacuum was good
enough to operate both Turbos are required to pass commissioning. As such the pumps were turned off at ~10:00 today. Venting started at 12:00.

Turbos started at 11:14. TP1S achieved full speed in less than 2 minutes. TP1 and 2 tripped at 9 minutes. Restarted and reached at speed after
another 1 minute 20 seconds.
Entry  Thursday, March 14, 2013, 07:18, David Wang, South Hot-Cell, Standard Operation, TM4, , TM4 window cooling line leak check
It took a long time(more than 1 hour)   to pump down the TM4 window  cooling line during leak check time. The base leak rate could only be
pumped to 5.8xE-9 atm.cc/sec.Base pressure is 0.0xE-4 torr which is bottom reading. Chad and i did the leak check at this base leak rate .No leak had been
found. The window cooling line is leak tight at this stage. A pressure helium test will be fulfilled in conditioning station on this cooling line later.
