Entry  Tuesday, May 23, 2017, 14:10, David Wang, ITE, Standard Operation, , , ITE water interlock check is done.

We do this check once a year now. Rene found a target oven reset issue during the check . He will consult with Friedhelm. The interlock check is good.

Entry  Thursday, March 06, 2014, 06:58, David Wang, ITE, Maintenance, TM3, , ITE vacuum and leak check on ITE BL2A window flange.

ITE and TM3 Turbo pumps have been started successfully yesterday. The vacuum reading on all ITE high vacuum gauges are at low E-6 range after one night pumping down which are good so far. There is no any sign of leak on BL2A window and the flange seal on ITE side. Yesterday afternoon, Ron , Edi ,and I  did a leak check on the ITE BL2A window flange(2aTunnel side). The leak detector was hooked onto BL2A in tunnel. Ron and I supplied helium from TH  to the helium test line(located in  ITE pit) which  we have on ITE BL2A window flange.   The helium test line end nozzle is just located under  the bottom of the 2A window flange. Edi was in BL2A tunnel checking the leak detector. We supplies 10- 15 psi helium 3 times to the test line. Each time for 10 seconds. The helium flow was checked twice and they were good. The LD base LR was 2.2xE-5 atm.cc/sec, After 70 seconds , The leak rate on LD was increased to 5.3 xE-5 atm.cc/sec. The leak rate reading  recovered after 20seconds. There is no obviously conclusion where the leak is. At that moment, Ron said, he and Edi would like to do  some further leak check  in 2A tunnel, and I went back to my job.

Entry  Tuesday, March 17, 2020, 14:59, David Wang, ITE, Development, TM4, P2N, ITE turbopumps are started.

They work fine. Current draw on all pumps are normal. I asked operator to switch on IG1 , IG1S and PNG4.

See the attached for the way ITE has been re-wired for the Ta62 run. Note also that the copper block in the schematic on TBHT negative may not actually be connected. Wiring verification on Aug. 4.

Entry  Wednesday, January 29, 2020, 12:37, David Wang, ITE, Standard Operation, TM2, , ITE primary/secondary vacuum vessel leak check.

Leak check on ITE vacuum vessel is done. LD base leak rate 0.0XE-9atm.cc/sec. base pressure 0.0Xe-4torr. Sprayed helium on all ITE primary and secondary vacuum vessel seals(including TM2). No leak . Also,70psi helium  pressurized TM2 waterlines inside the module for each circuit 3 minutes. No leak on all operating TM2 waterlines.

Entry  Monday, March 02, 2015, 10:52, David Wang, ITE, Maintenance, TM4, UCx, ITE primary and secondary vacuum vessels leak check.

Dan and I leak checked ITE primary and secondary vacuum vessels with TM4  in ITE. The leak detector was hooked to ITE TP2 BV2. Leak detector  base leak rate: 0.0xE-09 atm.cc/sec, base pressure: 0.0xE-4 torr. All secondary vacuum vessel seals has been checked(helium spray), and no leak has been found. On the ITE primary vacuum vessel, we  leak checked every thing except the TM4 service cap and water lines inside the TM4. NO leak has been found on ITE primary vessels. The primary vacuum seals on TM4 service cap and TM4 waterlines(helium pressure test) will be checked at CS later.

Entry  Monday, January 10, 2022, 09:31, David Wang, ITE, Standard Operation, TM4, , ITE primary and secondary vacuum vessel leak check.

ITE primary and secondary  vacuum vessel leak check has been down.  Base leak rate 0.0x E-9 atm.cc/sec on LD. Only 2.8 XE-9 atm.cc/sec leak has been found on big T tank seal which is very tiny. all other seals are perfect leak free.   No concern

Entry  Friday, February 02, 2024, 07:48, David Wang, ITE, Standard Operation, TM4, , ITE primary and secondary vacuum vessel leak check.

ITE primary and secondary vacuum vessel leak check has been done. SST bellow for 2A3M19  wire scanner on entrance module top has a big leak to E-5 atm.cc/sec on tiny helium spray. The bellow will be replaced in March by probe group. The LD base leak rate is affected by this big leak so i cant keep the LD scale at 0.0Xe-9 atm.cc/sec during the leak check. Other seal are leak free to 8XE-9 atm.cc/sec. I have no big concern on ITE vacuum seals status by the result.

Entry  Tuesday, January 07, 2025, 12:05, David Wang, ITE, Standard Operation, TM3, UCx #47, ITE primary and secondary vacuum vessel leak check for 2025 shut down

ITE primary and secondary vacuum vessel leak check for 2025 shut down have been done. No leak.  The TM3 waterlines helium pressure test will be done at TCS when module is there.

TM3 water lines helium pressure test  are done. 70 psi helium 3 minutes to each line( except HS which has no target on it ) . leak detector base leak rate :0.0Xe-9 atm.cc/sec. No leak on all tested water lines.Helium were purged out after test. and 60 psi nitrogen were filled in lines for storage.
