The TM2 HS line was leak checked at SHC yesterday . 0.9xE-9 atm.cc/sec.Helium sprayed by Chad, NO leak. It was helium pressurized at TCS this morning.
Leak rat:2.5 XE-7 atm.c/sec. The result is same as last time check. No concern. |

Chad and I leak checked TM2 tube heater+(D) circuit at SHC with water bypass loop and new seals installed on the water block. The LD base LR 0.0xE-9
atm.cc/sec,base pressure0.0xE-4 torr. Chad sprayed helium on the leak check area in SHC for 5 seconds. No any response has been found on LD during 1minutes
waiting time. The test was repeated again and the result is same. NO LEAK at this stage! After the TM2 is moved to CS , The D line will be pressured |

Dan and I leak checked TM2 and ITW primary vacuum vessel. It was found a 1X E-7 atm.cc/sec leak on top T flange seal between TM2 and dump module in first
time check. But it is not a repeatable leak. I checked the same spot and around area two more times with increased helium volume. It did not show up again.
The first response could be a helium drift to dry scroll pump. I will check it again later. The primar vacuum vessel on ITW and TM2 are leak free. |
Friday, March 01, 2013, 11:35, David Wang, ITE, Maintenance, TM4, , Leak check on ITE and TM4.
|
The leak check on TM4 and ITE is done. All primary vacuum vessel , secondary vacuum
vessel on TM4 and ITE are leak tight. There is no any response had been found on leak detector(leak detector base LR 0.0xE-9 arm.cc/sec). All water
lines had been pressurized to 70 psi helium for 3 minutes. They are all perfect leak tight( I cant find even a tiny response on leak detector) except |

TM 4 had been leak check in ITE due to relatively high PNG1 and IG1 readings. All TM4 primary and secondary vessel air to vacuum seals had
been leak checked. All water lines in TM4 had been helium pressured . There is no leak had been found so far. |

Service cap leak checked this afternoon. Found multiple leaks of 10E-8 to 10E-7 range. Connected to the backing line with IG1 at ~4E-6 T, CG1A around
40 mT. Got responses around large round flange on top, rectangular side panels, water f/t on GND and water f/t on HV. Will resume leak checking tomorrow
to attempt to pinpoint sources of leak more accurately. |

ITW Entrance Module was leak checked yesterday with the support of Vacuum Group (Dimo & Edi). The leak detector was connected to primary backing
vacuum line. A leak response was found near the bellow for the beam profile monitor on top of the Entrance Module. It could be confirmed today by actuating
the monitor, that the leak was indeed at that location. The plan is to move the TM and Entrance Module out for target exchange and repair, respectively. |
Wednesday, March 20, 2013, 08:19, David Wang, Conditioning Station, Repair, TM4, , Leak check new installed TM4 TP1 at conditioning station.
|
I leak checked new installed TM4 TP1 at conditioning station. The CS vacuum gauges reading were at 1.0-1.5xE-6 torr . Leak detector base leak rate 0.0xe-9atm.cc/sec,
base pressure 0.0xe-4torr. I sprayed helium around the pump inlet flange and KF 25 pump outlet flange to pump joint. There is no response on leak
detector. The new installed TP1 is leak tight. |

Maico, Chad and I conducted a leak check on all affected lines following tweaking of cooling line gaps. All lines pumped down to a level of 10-9
torrliter/sec with no leaks detected with Helium. |

Tried to leak check TM4 Ta57# at TCS. LD failed to pump down properly at fine range. It always tripped at 4 torr. I cheeked all vacuum lines seals and
adapters on top of module to LD. Everything is good. Chad said the VCRs at SHC can not be tightened any more. Discussed with Anders, we decide to move
module TCS and helium pressure test there. The same difficult happened last time on TM4 UCx24# at SHC when leak check. But,it is solved by pressurize |

TM3 leak check at conditioning station without target: TM3 all air to vacuum seals have been leak checked . They are all good. Water lines TAR(+-), TUBE(+-),
GAS, MSP , COIL2(+-), EE, HS(1,2) , GE,and WINDOW have been helium pressurized to 70 psi for 2 minutes each . No response had been found on leak detector.
They are leak tight.. Leak detector BR 0.0xE-9atm.cc/sec, BP 0.0xE-4 torr. TM3 and CS vacuum: PNG15.2xE-6 torr, IG1 8.8xE-7 torr,IG2 2.8xE-6torr, IG1S |

|
Chad and I leak checked TM2 tube heater(+) water line yesterday afternoon. The water line was difficult to pump down on base leak rate, but LD
base pressure was fine . The base pressure on leak detector was pumped to 0.0XE-4 torr quickly. The base leak rate only could be pumped to
4.5 xE-8 atm.cc/sec after 1 hour waiting time. All vacuum connections to leak detector in the target hall were leak checked and they were good. Chad |

Bevan and I did a leak check on TM2 tube heater+ from inside service cap in TH. The leak detector base leak rate 0.0xE-9 atm.cc/sec, base pressure
0.0xE-4totrr. One of side panel on service cap was opened. Bevan sprayed the helium to the "D" line inside the blue insulator. The helium flow
was checked , and he sprayed twice. No response has been found on leak detector. See attachment pictures |

Chad and I did the Leak checked TM2 tube heater (+) water line with rubber insert plugged water block on " D" in SHC. The
Leak detector was very easy to pump down to the bottom leak rate and pressure. Chad checked the helium flow in SHC, and sprayed 10 second helium on
the block. There is no response had been found during the test. The test was repeated again and no leak has been found. See attachment pictures. |

Isaac and I leak checked TM4 HS line with new UCX target. The leak detector base LR 0.0xE-9 atm.cc/sec, base pressure0.0xE-4torr. Isaac sprayed helium
on both VCR connections(5 seconds each) and flushed helium around the target for 6 seconds. No response on leak detector. |
