Leak found on the Ne supply line. 1E-4 - 1E-5 range. Replaced fittings. Had to use one brass piece. Leak rate 6E-9 (probably due to Ne response). No
response to He.
Leak rate around low E-8 with regulation valve open. |

Gas line vacuum pump reinstalled after fitting was modified to receive a standard swagelok connector. The vacuum line was plumbed using 1/4" copper
tube (not Stainless) for the the ability to flex and manipulate the line for pump removal and and insertion. |

Tuesday, December 01, 2020, 17:04, Carla Babcock, , , , , , , Problems/Solutions, Found another burned jumper cable
|
Between feedthroughs F (magnet coil) and B (tube heater negative), I found a jumper with two resistors that has been burned up. I am not sure when this
happened, but it would be good to review the overall setup of the service cap wiring in the new year.
The cable connected to feedthrough Q where the multipin sits also looks burned. |

While testing SiC#26 a leak was discovered on the water line to the heat shield. The leak was in the right joint (see attachment). The heat
shield water lines were removed from the test stand and repaired in the Machine Shop.
Kapton was added to the FEBIAD coil line to prevent
it from shorting to the target heater line (see attachment).
