Yasmine and I connected TM4 in ITE . All turbo pumps are started.

Entry  Tuesday, May 23, 2017, 14:10, David Wang, ITE, Standard Operation, , , ITE water interlock check is done.

We do this check once a year now. Rene found a target oven reset issue during the check . He will consult with Friedhelm. The interlock check is good.

Entry  Tuesday, October 24, 2017, 11:58, Travis Cave, ITE, Standard Operation, TM4, SiC#37, Module move

TM#4 with SiC#37 has been moved from the conditioning station to the east target station. A measurement was taken on TM#4 as it was being removed from the conditioning station, the location was on the side of the service tray access panel approx one metre away and the cover fully exposed, the reading was 750uSV/hr.

Entry  Thursday, October 26, 2017, 09:56, Anders Mjos, ITE, Repair, TM4, SiC#37, Leak on multi pin connector feedthrough

On maintenance day Tuesday, the roughing of the target station could not go below 1.5 Torr. A brief troubleshooting on Tuesday was unsuccessful in determining the cause. Leak checking continued on Wednesday by David and Anders. A leak was finally found on the multi pin connector feedthrough due to the seal between the connector and flange on top of the nylon insulator. Upon re-tightening the connector, the leak could be stopped and the module pumped down to allow starting of turbo pumps.

Eric and I finished ITE annual water interlock check. Everything works properly.

2018-02-27: Anders and I finished leak check on ITE primary and second vacuum vessel seals. LD connected to ITE BV2 valves between. LD, Base Leak rate 1.2 xE-9atm.cc/sec, base pressure 0.0XE-4torr. There is a leak has been found on TM4 service cap KF25 blank off. The o-ring on the blank off will be changed later. It is an easy fix . Other seals are good. The big T tank seal on secondary vessel is leak checked as well. It is still fine.  Helium pressure on TM4 water lines will be fulfilled at TCS to save dose.

2018-02-28 Leak checked ITW today, LD connected to ITW BV2 valves between LD base LR0.0XE-9 atm.cc/sec. base pressure 0.0Xe-4torr. There is leak has been found on exit module 1 service cap  on  topcover plate   o-ring. The leak is located on the south side of east edge on exit 1. This is the side module 2 is close beside. The leak rate is up to middle of E-8atm.cc/sec  range with 1-2 second helium spray. The leak and leak position are double checked and confirmed.  To completely fix this leak, the o-ring for top cover plate need to be replaced on service cap.It will be a major shut down job.  The  leak is close to ITW TP3 so it is less affect on beam line elevation vacuum.  Vacuum group experts will be consulted to see if we could leave it to next year shutdown.  Other seals are good including big T-tank seal on secondary vessel. TM2 source tray will be replaced this yea rso no helium pressure test on water lines is needed at this moment.

TM#4 ,with UC#22, was moved from the south hot cell to the east target station. Upon lowering the module down it made contact with the IMC, At that point the module was removed and placed back in the south hot cell. The IMC was inspected and problem corrected and the module was moved back to the east target station without a problem.

The IMC (ITA0160) appears to have a dent in it from the contact with the Target Module. The pressure on the IMC was found to be about negative ~3 mmHg and was increased to ~20 mmHg to attempt to retract the IMC further away from the TM. This pressure is similar to the pressure used at the Conditioning Station. The bellows appears not to be symmetrically compressed. It should be inspected again and pressure checked and monitored for upcoming module moves.
