|
TM#4 with UC#14 has been moved from the east target station to the south hot cell. |
Tuesday, April 05, 2016, 12:40, David Wang, ITE, Standard Operation, TM4, , I stopped ITE turbo pumps this morning
|
The ITE and TM4 have been vented with Argon . TM4 vacuum system is disconnected in ITE. |
Tuesday, April 05, 2016, 12:36, David Wang, ITW, Standard Operation, TM1, , TM1 vacuum system has been connected in ITW.
|
All turbo -pumps are started. |

TM#1 with UC#15 have been moved from the conditioning station to the west target station. |
Tuesday, April 05, 2016, 07:12, David Wang, Conditioning Station, Standard Operation, TM1, UC#15, stop CS vacuum pumps.
|
Stop TCS vacuum pumps . Preparing argon venting on TM1 and TCS.
7:34 AM, Disconnected TM1 at TCS, argon venting now. |
Monday, April 04, 2016, 11:14, David Wang, Conditioning Station, Standard Operation, TM1, , Helium pressure test on TM1 HS line at CS
|
New UCx target is installed on the module. 70psi helium,3 minutes. NO response on LD. LD is pumped to bottom LR and LP during test. |
Friday, April 01, 2016, 14:41, David Wang, Conditioning Station, Standard Operation, TM1, , TM1 and TCS vacuum system has been connected. TCS control page white out.
|
I can not start the TCS pumps due to control page white out. Control group is working on this issue.
Control group fixed the white out problem. I started all turbo-pumps. The pumping down is good so far. The TM1 IG1 is broken. I will check it on
next Monday. It could be a broken filament. Then, the filament will be replaced. |
Friday, April 01, 2016, 13:58, Travis Cave, Conditioning Station, Standard Operation, TM1, UC#15, module moved
|
TM#1 has been moved from the conditioning station to the south hot cell, had UC#15 installed and then moved back to the conditioning station. |

Wednesday, March 30, 2016, 15:49, David Wang, Assembly/Bench Test, Repair, TM2, , TM2 Helium spray leak check on solder stems inside service cap on the top of SW silo. 7x
|
On each water circuit in side the service cap, there are 4 soldering stems which two of them are inside blue nylon insulator and other two are connected
to service tray. Each stem has two soldering spots. See attachment pictures for detail location. I sprayed 15 psi helium on each soldering spots on stems
for 20second on each circuit. I sprayed tons of helium inside each blue nylon. No any leak has been found during the check. The leak detector base leak |

Tuesday, March 29, 2016, 08:38, David Wang, Conditioning Station, Standard Operation, TM1, , TM1 water lines helium pressure check at TCS
|
TM1 water lines helium pressure check at TCS is done. 70 psi helium was applied to water circuits. Leak detector base leak rate 0.0 x E-9 atm.cc/sec,
base pressure 0.0 x E-4 torr. The result shows as below:

Wednesday, March 23, 2016, 11:32, David Wang, South Hot-Cell, Repair, TM2, , TM2 Helium spray leak check on GE and MSP lines at SHC
|
Chad and I did the helium spray leak check on TM2 GE and MSP water lines at SHC this morning. We confirmed the GE leak on water blocks. We can
not found the MSP leak by using the helium spray since its leak rate in TCS is much smaller than GE leak. The leak check process are as below:
