It took a long time(more than 1 hour) to pump down the TM4 window cooling line during leak check time. The base leak rate could only be pumped to 5.8xE-9 atm.cc/sec.Base pressure is 0.0xE-4 torr which is bottom reading. Chad and i did the leak check at this base leak rate .No leak had been found. The window cooling line is leak tight at this stage. A pressure helium test will be fulfilled in conditioning station on this cooling line later. |

I leak checked new installed TM4 TP1 at conditioning station. The CS vacuum gauges reading were at 1.0-1.5xE-6 torr . Leak detector base leak rate 0.0xe-9atm.cc/sec, base pressure 0.0xe-4torr. I sprayed helium around the pump inlet flange and KF 25 pump outlet flange to pump joint. There is no response on leak detector. The new installed TP1 is leak tight. |

I leak checked new installed ITW EXIT1 tank to module o-ring.No leak had been found . Also ,TM1 primary vessel air to vacuum seals had been checked at the same time. There was no response had been found on leak detector. |

TM3 leak check at conditioning station without target: TM3 all air to vacuum seals have been leak checked . They are all good. Water lines TAR(+-), TUBE(+-), GAS, MSP , COIL2(+-), EE, HS(1,2) , GE,and WINDOW have been helium pressurized to 70 psi for 2 minutes each . No response had been found on leak detector. They are leak tight.. Leak detector BR 0.0xE-9atm.cc/sec, BP 0.0xE-4 torr. TM3 and CS vacuum: PNG15.2xE-6 torr, IG1 8.8xE-7 torr,IG2 2.8xE-6torr, IG1S 1.3xE-6 torr. |

Controls has created a new user group that can operate the conditioning station but cannot use any of the bypasses or forces. The cooling package will be used to test this new profile. The main loop bypass has been opened to allow this testing to happen without the risk of over pressure. |

Work on TM3 source tray removal started at 10:40 am today.
The containment box has been removed, and disconnection of the optics tray is 90 complete.

Optics tray has been removed from module.
Waterblock jig installation has commenced. Of note, jig installation on TM3 has proven more dificult than the previous installation on TM2. Many of the waterblock assemblies are skewed (not perpendicular to plane that they should be...perpendicular to).
As I am away tomorrow, jig installation willl continue on Friday. With the source tray hopefully being removed on Monday. |

The back half of the water block jig (services tray side) has been sucessfully located onto the module.
About 50% of the waterblocks have centered themselfs it their respective cups and the rest look good for concentricity but will require some gentle wiggling to get them to seat. |

Service tray side of the waterblock jig is installed and all locking tabs enagaed save the heat shield circuit. Locking tab for heat shield circuit with be worked on Monday morning and installation of the source tray side of the waterblock jig should commence on monday as well. |

Chad removed the source tray from TM3 today, see attached picture (video was also taken). There was some interference between the window cooling lines and the frame work as well as the clamps for the ground electrode and the water block alignment jig. There was also interference between the optics alignment post (specifically the mushroom top) and the water block alignment jig. Investigation into these inferences needs to be completed as they could cause trouble for the insertion of the new source tray and alignment of the copper lines. During removal it was easy to bend copper tubes out of the way but this clearly would not work during installation. |

David and I checked circuits p and q (the water cooled coil ciruit) for flow this morning as, with the source tray still in the module, there was both a leak and a leak tight blockage. Both p and q allowed air flow through them confirming that the blockage was in the surce tray side of the system.
The heat shield circuit was also tested for flow and it passed. |

David and I preformed a helium leak check on the service tray waterblocks and verify that no damage had been done during jig installation. All 14 circuits were checked and verified to be ok except circuit E and circuit I which were unstable when helium was applied. The resonse time on E and I would suggest that it is an issue with the bungs that were used and not the braze joint however. |

With the aid of nic new manipulator snap fingers made by Maico the peek cable ties restraining the 9 pin connector wiring to the gas lines have been cut. |

Travis and I removed the 55 pin connector from the service cap today. The feed through was left in place as a new design for the replacement has yet to be designed. It was not possible to test if the cables could be pulled easily as I believe there is still 1 cable tie in the containment box. The wires were cut flush with the top of the copper tube in case Chad cannot remove them via the hot cell. Other items removed include several cable ties and a clamp used to hold a cable tie. The side panels on the service cap we difficult to remove so copper never sieze was added when they were re-installed. I have attached some pictures from before and after a complete record can be found in the TM3 docushare folder. |
