hot items have been moved and shielded as much as possible. Field at left manipulator has been reduced from 560 uSv/h to 85 uSv/h.

Entry  Monday, June 25, 2018, 16:42, Anders Mjos, Conditioning Station, Development, , , Testing new high current connectors

Shorted TGHT with new high current connector assembly and heated to 600 A. Temperature measured on half way point on cable ~ 70 deg C and on connector ~60 deg C at 600 A, 45 / 40 deg C at 400 A. Target Hall locked out during test

Entry  Monday, June 25, 2018, 11:31, chad fisher, South Hot-Cell, Standard Operation, , , Fields at Al cover

The shield door has been opened and fields measured at 77 uSv/h on contact at the AL. panel.

Entry  Friday, June 22, 2018, 13:59, chad fisher, South Hot-Cell, Repair, , , Soth Hot Cell Fields

Field measurements have been taken to determine the level before entry for repair of manipulators.

Field on contact at manipulator is 560 uSv/h, and at approximately 1/2 meter at table surface 920 uSv\h.

Entry  Thursday, June 21, 2018, 17:15, Isaac Earle, North Hot-Cell, Development, , , Motorla CP200 radio with throat mic tested in NHC

A Motorla CP200 portable two-way radio was tested today for use inside the ISAC hot cells.  A High Technology Communications Throat microphone PRO model from Planet Headset was used with the radio.  Chad entered the NHC wearing the throat mic and radio under a air supplied hood to mimic real world conditions.  Communication was clear with the other person in the NHC service area, in the SHC service area, at various locations on the B1 level, and even with an operator in the TRIUMF Main Control Room.

This testing satisfies RS 104 of the NHC requirements specification (Document-131915, Release 1)

TM#4 ,with UC#22, was moved from the south hot cell to the east target station. Upon lowering the module down it made contact with the IMC, At that point the module was removed and placed back in the south hot cell. The IMC was inspected and problem corrected and the module was moved back to the east target station without a problem.

The IMC (ITA0160) appears to have a dent in it from the contact with the Target Module. The pressure on the IMC was found to be about negative ~3 mmHg and was increased to ~20 mmHg to attempt to retract the IMC further away from the TM. This pressure is similar to the pressure used at the Conditioning Station. The bellows appears not to be symmetrically compressed. It should be inspected again and pressure checked and monitored for upcoming module moves.

Entry  Wednesday, May 30, 2018, 09:55, David Wang, Conditioning Station, Repair, TM2, , TM2 and TCS vacuum pumps are switched off.

I switched off TM2 and TCS vacuum pumps. The TCS and TM2 will be under vacuum without pumping.

Entry  Wednesday, May 30, 2018, 09:51, David Wang, Conditioning Station, Repair, TM2, , TM2 water lines helium pressure test at TCS.

I did a helium pressure test on TM2 water lines at TCS. We will remove the TM2 source tray soon so this test is a reference check for future new source. The result:

Helium 70 psi, 2 minutes to each circiut. Leak detector  base LR.0.0x e-9atm.cc/sec, base pressure  0.0x e-4torr

Ta+(A)  0.0x e-9atm.cc/sec

Ta-(B)  0.0x e-9atm.cc/sec

Tu-(C) 7.8x e-7 atm.cc/sec

Tu+(D) 3.5x e-7 atm.cc/sec

Coil 2(PU) 0.0x e-9atm.cc/sec

Coil 1(RU) 0.0x e-9atm.cc/sec

EE 8.2 x e-9atm.cc/sec

MSP 0.0x e-9atm.cc/sec

Containment box window  0.0 xe-9atm.cc/sec

HS  no target and opened. No test.

All water lines on module side in TM2  should be in good condition according to this test . The leak response we found on B and C lines are from water block seals mostly.

Attached alignment check notes after brazing and fabrication.

First page lower half shows establishment of baseline using master jig

Second page top half shows the alignment of the target mounting plate jig and the steerer cone aperture.

Second page bottom half shows alignment of the master target jig. Master target jig needed the 9 pin and heat shield locating features removed to seat the target correctly.

Overall, source tray assembly sits .006" high on average (min .003", max .010"), .003" to the left with respect to ion beam axis.
