high voltage conditioning was carried out over the day up to 24 kV. i will leave it at 20 kV over night. Current is at 22 micro Amps, heaters off.

The high voltage was sparking several times during the night. It may be correlated with the cycling of the cooling water temperature and conductance.

|
All power supplies tripped on high conductivity of the cooling water < 5 MOhm, It is not clear if this was caused by a spark or vice versa. According
to the strip tool for this signal the resistance of the water went up. There might be a fault in this signal. I do not have permission to force this signal
so I keep the heaters off. We should revisit the interlock conditions, this signal should not be included in the interlocks for the heaters. Both target |

TM#3 has been moved from the conditioning station to the east target station, move went well. |
Tuesday, October 15, 2013, 15:34, Bevan Moss, ITE, Standard Operation, TM3, , Blocks moved from ITW to ITE
|
Blocks 1-4 have been moved from ITW to ITE. Block 5 was moved to a storage area as it will be in the way of the harp repair. Danka took air samples
and found 200 counts of alpha on the air samples but nothing on the swipes. It is recommended that resporators be worn while blocks are being lifted and
lowered. She will check the monitor tomorrow to confirm it is behaving as it should. |

Tuesday, November 12, 2013, 09:51, David Wang, ITE, Standard Operation, TM3, , TM3 disconnection
|
TM3 has been disconnected this morning and purged all HV water lines. I found the power plug for all turbo pump fans wasnt connected during
the last run. That maybe the one of the reason on that ITE TP3 failure. |

|
The target was inspected by Chad and Anders in the Hot Cell. Electrical megger tests were done during the assembly. It was found that Insulators No 3
(ITD0311) and No 2 (ITD0310) failed to hold voltage after the run.

Wednesday, November 27, 2013, 12:50, Bevan Moss, South Hot-Cell, Standard Operation, TM3, , Ground devices wiring check

Travis and I completed an electrical check on the wiring harness for the devices on the ground plane. All lines passed 500V with the megger except
for PNG and the BTM steerer. Those devices had a short to ground. of ~1.4ohm. |
Wednesday, November 27, 2013, 15:24, Bevan Moss, South Hot-Cell, Maintenance, TM3, , Wiring Harness Electrical Test
|
Maico removed the containment box today allow Travis and I to further test the wiring harness. I disconnected the junction block and Travis and
I repeated the test from yesterday. The all lines except the PNG tested OL. The module was then lowered and the twisted pair connected to the pin that
corresponds to the steerer labeled BTM (it is likely this is not labeled correctly). This testing showed showed that the source of the short found yesterday |

|
Using in cell camera and transit the suspect line on the steerers was inspected as best as possible. An existing photo of the complete steerers before
installation was used for comparison. The wiring and beading inspected today showed no obvious problems, breaks or spots where there may be a short. In
comparison to the photo from construction, what we could see of the steerers looked identical to the original installation. |
