UC #7 has been moved from the south hot cell to the spent target vault, it was placed in pail #110 and put in slot 8B of the vault, it was 22.6mSv/hr upon removal from the hot cell. See attached PDF for vault details.

Results from the electrical check of TM#1 with the UC#6 target. See attached PDF.

Module moves of TM#1 with Ta#39 from ITW to SHC then TM#1 with UCx#6 from SHC to the conditioning station moves went well.

TM#1 with UC#6 has been moved from the conditioning station to the west target station, move went well.

TM#1 with UCx #6 has been moved to the south hot cell.

Spent target move, UC#6 has been moved from the south hot cell to the target storage. The target is in pail 108 and in slot 8C of the vault. See attached PDF for details.

 TM4 with UC48 went on a long trip from the north hot cell to the conditioning station.

UC#48 Handover satisfactory

• Target taken out of glovebox and tested for fit
• The left most triplet conductor leg was seen to be slightly misaligned, but the test fit showed that the bolt still threads on with some flexing from the suspect target leg.

Target inserted into NHC successfully

•  tight fit with IGLIS means some rubbing of the two conductor legs did occur with the tool port tunnel
• NHC target tray used, so tray from transportation was left in anteroom 
• HVAC vacuum pressure dropped below threshold for a minute while toolport door was open.
  • Operations chained off SHC doors and RPG got involved to ensure the safety of everyone in the area

Target Install successful

• A moment of rough handling of the target occurred when tilting the target towards operator in preparation for install
• The suspected misaligned conductor leg did not initially accept a screw, but the use of a T-handled allen key and using a different screw from the package worked
• Leak checks successful
• Electrical checks successful

Replacements of NHC tool cart has been built, but some modifications may be made before it is inserted into the hotcell

 The spent UC#47 was moved from the south hot cell to the spent target vault placed in pail #302 in spot 1C of the vault, it was 24.5mSv/hr when removed from the south hot cell. See attached for vault details.

UC#46 was placed in pail# 301 in spot 1B and was 26.3mSv/hr when removed from the SHC. See attached PDF for vault 
details.

ITW has been behaving badly at higher voltages recently, even without protons on. I conditioned it up to 50kV with heaters off in the TCS and it was fine. But when I tried to do the same with heaters on in the station, it was quite sparky and it kept tripping the TGHT/TBHT. I went to 49kV where it was unstable, then lowered to 48kV where it looked fine for 30mins. But even operating at 40kV, it tripped the heaters several times. The TBHT voltage came back lower than before on the last trip, so I am getting worried about it.

I decided to make sure all the electronic spark protection was ok in the faraday cage. There is a resistor/gmov combination across the terminals of each TGHT/TBHT in which Tomislav replaced the gmovs for me because his tester did not work at those low voltages, so we couldnt see if they were broken. The electronics diagram called for 18V gmovs, the replacements are 22V because that's all we have.

We also tested and re-installed the capacitor-gdt-resistor combinations that John installed last year from TGHT/TBHT bubars to HV common. I originally removed them because we couldn't bias a FEBIAD with them on - this still has to be investigated. The measured values are 0.148uF, 90kOhms and a breakdown voltage on the gdt of 410-450V.

Hopefully this prevents sparking the power supplies off.

Sunday, June 16, 2024, 07:03 : power supplies have not tripped off since electronics repair. See data/TM4sparkingbehaviour_June152024.dat for sparking frequency over ~10hrs of protons (5-14uA). >14 sparks during this time (14 captured by PLC when voltage dropped, many more current peaks).

 The UC#45 target was moved from the south hot cell to the spent target vault. It was place in Pail#292 spot 1A of the vault, was 19.5mSv/hr. Also this pail contains the target material of UC#44. See attached PDF for more details.

 The spent UC#41 was moved from the south hot cell to the spent target vault, placed in spot 1C, in pail #231. See attached PDF for details. 

 UC#40 was moved from the north hot cell to the spent target vault. It was placed in pail #278 put in spot 1B and was 15.6 mSv/hr when removed from the north hot cell.

Also Ta#62 in pail #256 was moved from spot 7B back to 7A where it was originally located. This pail in the future will have to be repacked due to the fact it lacks a reinforcing disc in the bottom of the pail.

 The spent UC#39 target (pail #276) was removed from the north hot cell and place in the spent target vault (spot 4B) it was 14.4 mSv/hr when removed from the north hot cell. See attached PDF for further details. 

 Targets UC#38,40 Ta#62,63 SiC#44 have been moved from the spent target vault to the mini vault in preparation for F-308 loading. See attached PDFs for details.

 The spent target UC#38 was packed into pail #274 and placed in spot 1A of the vault. It was 33.3mSv/hr when removed from the north hot cell. See attached PDF for more vault details.

 UC#37 was placed in pail #228 and place in spot 1B it was removed the north hot cell. See attached PDF for more details of it and the vault.

 An electric check was done right after module moving from SMP to SHC. 

 An electrical check of TM2 with target UC#36 and no external connections was finished at SHC.
