TM4 has been connected at CS. Turbo- pumps and water system are started and running . The HV cover has been installed on the module. Everything is good so far. |
Thursday, September 24, 2015, 07:00, David Wang, Conditioning Station, Maintenance, TM4, Ta#46, Turned off TCS all vacuum pumps and water pumps.
|
TCS:MP1 back up pressure went up too high (700mtorr).I turned off all the pumps. The TCS is under vacuum still. TCS water package cooling fans showed error on control page. The water pumps are stopped also.
Restarted the vacuum pumps 40 minutes after stopping. Everything is back to normal. The MP1 back up pressure need to be monitored frequently before we have a final solution on this issue.
Reset the CS cooling package on roof and restarted the water pumps. The system is running good so far. |

Tuesday, October 06, 2015, 13:00, David Wang, ITE, Repair, TM4, , spark on top of TM4 in ITE
|
During the weekend condition The TM4 spark at 30KV without vacuum response. It is confirmed the spark is from the top TM4 this morning. The flexible cables in a black wire sleeve which is used for febiad X pin connection drooped too close to the TM4 surface plate, and caused the sparking. The problem is fixed by Anders and David. The cables is put back where it should stay. After test, no sparking on the top. |

Wednesday, November 25, 2015, 15:36: RGA on
Thursday, November 26, 2015, 09:55: PS energized. EE connected to power supply.
Thursday, November 26, 2015, 11:41: Applied some current and voltage to all power supplies. All looks good.
Some sparking around 5 kV. Turned out to be a bad cable connection. Fixed with David W.
Thursday, November 26, 2015, 15:04: BIAS/EL/EE 20 / 15 1.5 kV
Thursday, November 26, 2015, 15:43: Handed TCS over to ISAC operations
Target heated over the weekend. EE went into current limiting (down to ~100 V) a while after the target was at temperature.
Monday, November 30, 2015
Target conditioned by ISAC operators to 30 kV without any problems.
EE current limit increased to about 26 mA in an attempt to recover. Cooling down target to investigate. |
