TCS:MP1 was tripping of intermittently yesterday. It was found by Dave Morris that the current sensor was not set correctly causing the pump on status to flicker at times. Dave adjusted the settings yesterday. The system should be operational and is currently running normally. |

Chad and Anders inspected the test target in the hot cell today. The lid had been previously removed.
- The EE looked to have performed well.
- A piece of Ta foil was found inside the heat shield. It is not clear if this has been there during operation or if it entered the heat shield while in the hot cell. The foil has markings which indicate that it has seen heat.
- Travis measured 40 MOhm at 500V between heat shield and anode after the target was removed.

NEW HV cable for BIAS installed earlier this week.
Wednesday, June 28, 2017, 16:42: BIAS at 20 kV
Wednesday, June 28, 2017, 16:46: BIAS at 30 kV, EZL at 15 kV
Wednesday, June 28, 2017, 17:00: BIAS at 35 kV, EZL at 17.5 kV
The voltage response on TBHT and TGHT changed as the target was heated up. This was later determined to be due to target shorting to heat shield and the grounding of the power supplies being achieved at the HV pedestal in the target hall and not in the HV enclosure as is done online. When this was changed, the target operated normally again. |

The target was inspected by Chad and Anders. Photos are available on DocuShare. It was noticed that the target tube heater terminals had lifted up from the insulator on the target assembly as seen in this Photo. This has later been detemined to be from the assembly, where additional clearance was required and achieved by installing washers. |

50 kV stable with less than 1 spark/h during the weekend by RIB obs.
Today 57 kV reached, but observed sparking on the resistors of the new HV cable. The cable will be removed to take out the resistors, before reinstalling it.
The target hall was locked out, but has now been reopened. This was to avoid sparking to the HV cover. |

Chad and Anders inspected the Source Tray today using the camera in the hot cell. A dark spot was observed on one of the four insulators separating the Extraction Electrode from the Ground Electrode. This could potentially influence the high leakage current. Some discolored areas were also observed in the Service Tray, but these was present when the module was built. See attachment for details. |
