Bevan Moss | South Hot-Cell | Standard Operation | TM2 | | Electrical Test |
Don Jackson and Myself completed started an electrical test on TM2. All lines passed the with OL to ground. When testing in between the lines individually there were several lines that read other than OL. It was decided to abandon the testing as there were too many "failures". The results are attached. The testing will be repeated in the conditioning station with vacuum. It is not expected that this will change anything as during a quick visual inspection it appears the lines are touching. Of note the water block jig was removed this morning by Chad. |

Don Jackson | South Hot-Cell | Standard Operation | TM1 | Ta38 | Electrical Check on new Ta38 at hot cell |
Megger checks were exceptionally high (good). Readings taken less than 2 hours after reading low values from end of run on Nb#6. Tests on Ta38 will be repeated at conditioning station later. |

David Wang | South Hot-Cell | Repair | TM3 | | Electrical Check on TM3 after fibergalss is moved in SHC. |
RU( coil 1), F (anode), and 60kv bias(HS, Gasline, and MSP) are shorted together. Other lines are good. They are measured between individual line each other @500V. The megga showed OL. All of them to ground are OL @500V as well. EL is grounded during check. |

Travis Cave | Conditioning Station | Maintenance | TM1 | no target | Electrical Check and TM1 other checks |
Results of an electrical check on TM#1 with no target attached to it.
I use this e-log entry for TM1 notes as well 1. TM1 IG1 is a dual filament gauge . Its filament is very close to grid now. It shorted one time during the pumping down. It still works fine so far . But, we may need to change it if we use this module in TS again.
TCS 1G1 and 1G1S are pumped to 5Xe-6 torr. IG2 stayed at 2.5XE-5 torr. Since no target is installed on module , I capped top of HS water line. Maybe, the small o-ring seal in cap is too old, I found a big leak on this seal when i use LD check it. That is the reason IG2 stayed too high. Still, Leak check and helium presuure test are fulfilled on TM1. Leak detector BLR 5XE-7 atm.cc/sec, BP 0.0XE-4 torr9. Back up pressure is 51 mtorr which is high because of leak on HS line cap seal so LD BLR is high. At this level, Ta+-, Tube +-, MSP, EE are good. Other air to vacuum seal are good as well at this leak rate. I will check and change small o-ring seal in HS cap. The TM1 is functional basically. |
