South hot cell was entered to check to replace cable if needed. Wrist cable showed no signs of fraying or broken strands.
A tong with new cable pre-installed is now in the hot cell for next time this job needs to be done. There is also another spare tong cable not installed in a tong located in the box of manipulator repair equipment located inside the hot cell.
Both manipulator slave ends were lubricated whilst inside. |

Plastic has been removed from the floor and any known active items in the hot cell moved to the south east corner in an attempt to shield the anteroom. Fields at the aluminum panel were reduced from 66 uSv/h to 58.8uSv\h. No contamination found on walls, floor, tacky mats, or standard aluminum cover. The aluminum cover with breathable air line hole did have 400 counts on 44-2, 1200 on ludlum.

Sic#35 has been installed onto TM2. High current fasteners torqued to 130 in lbs.
Mating of the 9 pin connector was extremely problematic but in the end I was able to get it to mate properly. Noticed left (when facing module in hot cell) febiad coil left twisted a bit when torqued up. |

chad fisher | South Hot-Cell | Standard Operation | TM2 | Ta#50 | UCx #18 - Ta Feibiad Dummy installed. Target Change Waterline interference |
On Tuesday, January 24th UCx#18 was removed from TM2 and Ta febiad dummy installed. I encountered the same issue mounting the new target as last time. Was able to determine that the issue is the routing of the waterlines to the right-hand (as viewed from the operator) high current tube heater. The lines interfer the the target mounting plate (bottom right hand corner). |

chad fisher | South Hot-Cell | Maintenance | | | Manipulator 'Z' motion cable replacement preparation status |
Aaron and I completed assembling (re-assembling) the clean spare on Tuesday, February 14th to assist in determining a procedure for replacement of the 'Z' motion cable on the south hot cell manipulators.
The anchor point in the slave end of the clean manipulator could not be found as the manipulator stand is too low and does not allow full extension of the slave end.
Did some poking around on the in-situ manipulator in the south cell and was able to find the anchor point viewing it with the in cell camera (see blurry attached photo).
Was able to then find reference to the "cable clamp" in the parts list and drawing for the slave end. Also, confirmed there is not a procedure in the manual for a CABLE 'Z' motion system as we have, only a tape driven system. The procedure should however be very similar safe this mystery anchor point I discovered today and how readily this anchor point can be worked in. |

I have re-measured the fields in the hot cell. Fields at shield door Al cover are 101 uSv\h, in cell at the east manipulator are 245 uSv\h, and the largest field is 1.84 mSv\h...this appears to be the high current fasteners removed from the last target. |

I have moved the suspected "hot" items in the hot cell and placed them under some lead bricks. I have re-measured the fields and it has been reducded to 90 uSv\h at the manipulator repair area and 110 uSv/h at the previous 1.82 mSv\h area. |

The west 'Z' motion cable on the east manipulator has successfully been replaced. The job took slightly less than an hour (including inspection of the scissor table hoses) and I received 0.075mSv. Scissor table hoses appear to be fine and also didn't "shed" or flake at all when checked by hand. |
