|
I connected TM4 and CS vacuum system after TM4 move. CS roughing pump was started first this morning. Later, Anders, Bill and I started 3 turbo pumps
on TM4 and CS. The pumping down is good so far. The CS vacuum system ion gauges are turned on also. |

|
The helium pressure test on TM4 HS line at conditioning station is done. No leak. I also leak checked all vacuum seals on TM4 service cap. They are all
good. |
Friday, March 27, 2015, 11:29, David Wang, Conditioning Station, Standard Operation, TM4, Ta#45, TM4 is connected at CS
|
TM4 has been connected at CS which includes high current cables, water lines, EE cable, and Enizel lens cable. The HV cover has been installed
onto the TM4 service cap.The CS water system is started. All water signals are good so far. Anders will start HV and heaters conditioning
on next Monday. |

Monday, April 20, 2015, 09:35: Started cooling water circulation
HV cover did not fit due to interference with the air sampling valve. Target Hall will have to be locked out for conditioning to proceed. WP

Monday, April 20, 2015, 10:22, David Wang, Conditioning Station, Standard Operation, TM1, UCx12, TM1 with UCx12 has been connected to CS and ready for conditioing.
|
The TH will be locked during the TM1 conditioning time due to an interference issue between CS HV cover and a gas analysis valve on top of TM1.
A work permit has been issued for the conditioning job because of it. |
Wednesday, April 22, 2015, 11:05, David Wang, Conditioning Station, Standard Operation, TM1, , electrical check on TM1 at CS under vacuum
|
I did an electrical check on TM1 at CS. The resistance check:A-B 3.918m ohm, A-C 5.905m ohm,A-D 4.070m ohm,B-C5.462m ohm,B-D3.633m ohm. They are very
close to the check we did in SHC. The only unusual thing I found during the check is the ohmmeter reading between A and 60 KV common (6.2K )and the Megga
reading between them at 250 V which is 0. I repeated 4 times and always got the same readings. However, after so many times check, the Megga reading |
Thursday, April 23, 2015, 09:08, David Wang, Conditioning Station, Maintenance, TM1, UCx12, Huge Leak on TM1 contaiment box window.
|
There is a huge leak on TM1 containment box window. I did a 70 psi helium pressure test on all TM1 water circuits this morning. The LD base leak rate
was 0.0XE-9 atm.cc/sec. When applying the 70 psi helium to containment box window circuit, the leak rate on LD jumped to 1XE-4 atm.cc/sec in 5 seconds.I
released the helium source right away,t but the conditioning station is full of helium molecules already, and the leak rate on LD stays at 1xE-5 |
