Jason Sargeant mopped up TH floor this morning. The mop head was checked after the job. There are 1500 counts on it. He think this level is reasonable low. 3000 counts would be normal in past.

Entry  Thursday, June 11, 2020, 11:49, David Wang, ITE, Maintenance, , , ITW and ITE thermocouple status.

  ITW - 2A2

o    2A2DSP-TC3 - not connected in El room

o    2A2COL-TC2 - does not work inside module

o    2A2COL-TC3 - does not work inside module

·         ITE - 2A3

o    2A3COL-TC3 - works, but plug needs repair in ITE pit

Anders and I checked ITW and ITE thermocouple status. See result above.  Frank and I will fix the 2A3COL-TC3 loose cable to plug issue.

Entry  Thursday, June 11, 2020, 12:36, David Wang, Safe Module Parking, Repair, TM3, , TM3 containment box and service tray field measurement.
At 15cm distance: Containment box window 21msv maximum. Service tray 8.0msv maximum.
At 0.5 meter distance 360degree rotation: containment box high 10msv, low 4.3msv.
Maximum 170 to 180 counts(44-2) on swipes taking from service cap inside.
0 to 20 counts(44-2) on air sample at 0.5 meter to containment box window panel.
80 counts(44-2) on air sample taking from service cap inside.  The contamination level in service cap is low.

Target to HS is 400 ohm. The rest check is good. See attachment.

Entry  Thursday, June 18, 2020, 13:22, David Wang, ITW, Standard Operation, TM2, C#1, Remove of TM2 from ITE to SHC.

Remotely remove TM2 from ITW to SHC. The move is good.  Shielding plug is put back to ITW.

Entry  Thursday, June 18, 2020, 13:25, David Wang, ITE, Standard Operation, TM4, P2N test., Disconnect TM4 in ITE.

TM4 has been disconnected in ITE. Vacuum pumps and gauge are not disconnected yet.

Entry  Friday, June 19, 2020, 11:21, David Wang, ITE, Repair, TM4, P2N test., ITE TP3 is replaced.

ITE TP3 is replaced. ITE is under vacuum again. All turbo pumps are started successfully. Current draw on pumps are normal so far.

Entry  Tuesday, June 23, 2020, 10:56, David Wang, Safe Module Parking, Standard Operation, , , SMP annual service.

Dan and I did the SMP annual  maintenance service today. Lid open/close , vessel rotation and limit switch check, lubricate chains, tighten fasteners, and visual inspection.  Everything works fine.

Entry  Friday, June 26, 2020, 15:00, David Wang, ITW, Maintenance, , , ITW TP1 and TP1S.

ITW TP1 can not be started yesterday. Also, TP1S was difficult to start , and had a high current draw after.  We changed both of them in pit today. TP1 and TP1S are started successfully after replacement.

Entry  Monday, June 29, 2020, 10:09, David Wang, ITE, Standard Operation, TM4, P2N test., ITE turbo pumps are stopped

ITE venting is in processing.

Electrical check and leak check at SHC. NO leak. electrical check ok.   Before target on, A is short to PQ, RU is short to HS ( 60KV bias) as we measured before.

Entry  Thursday, August 27, 2020, 08:21, David Wang, Conditioning Station, Standard Operation, TM2, Ta#60, Helium pressure check on TM2 HS line at TCS.

Helium pressurize on TM2 HS line at TCS is done.    Base LR is 0.0X E-9 atm.cc/sec.  70 psi helium 3 minutes.   No response.   Also, The TCS vacuum pumping down over night is good.

Entry  Thursday, September 24, 2020, 11:25, David Wang, Conditioning Station, Standard Operation, TM4, UC#31, TM4 HS line leak check at SHC and TCS.

Both helium spray and helium pressurize on TM4 HS line withUCx31 target are done at SHC and TCS. No leak.

Entry  Tuesday, September 29, 2020, 12:12, David Wang, ITE, Repair, TM4, , TM4 steerers staus after" left " grounding issue, and first stage investigation

Left (short) is switched with bottom. So on module:

"Top" is still top.

"Left" is bottom in module actually

"Bottom and Right" is Left and right in module actually.

 For the connection in ITE:

Left  cable is connected to "left" ( bottom  in module actually)

Top cable is connected to " Bottom and Right"( left and right in module actually)

Bottom and Right cable is connected to "Top" which is top in module.

Frank and I removed the panel, disconnected the "Left"cable  inside panel,  and checked  cable to ground resistance. "Left "is dead short to ground on ohmmeter check still. So the short could be on cable or inside source tray.  Further investigation is planned to confirm the short  location.
