Result:

    The wire snnaped around 376 W (53 A, and 7.09 V) and 2170 °C (measured with filament pyrometer)

Yesterday a heat shield was installed in the EVAP2.
A 1mm thick rhenium wire was held within two copper brackets to pass    through a Cu tube with the intention of coating its inside face.

A short naked Ta tube (no heat shielding), previously coated with TaC was set under vacuum, 
and it will be kept at 2000 °C for 3 days to later identify the TaC's carbon penetration.
