The p2n target was taken out of the test stand for inspection. Comments and measurements on the container below:
- Initially, continuity measurements were mode between the target and heat shield (HS) while they were still in the test stand, and looks like
they were shorted. However, after removing the HS from the test stand, no short was seen, not even after moving the target legs. Instead, we confirmed |

Friday, August 02, 2019: p2n target installed in the test stand, the ion source was fully removed to avoid any risk of shorting. The Central ion source
current lead is attached to the target body so it was left there and attached to its electrodes.
