Chad and I did a leak check on TM4 HS line with UCx 26# installed . Base LR 0.0X E-9 atm.cc/sec. Base pressure 0.0XE-4 torr.  No response on leak detector during leak check.

Tried to leak check TM4 Ta57# at TCS. LD failed to pump down properly at fine range. It always tripped at 4 torr. I cheeked all vacuum lines seals and adapters on top of module to LD. Everything is good. Chad said the VCRs at SHC can not be tightened any more. Discussed with Anders, we decide to move module TCS and helium pressure test there.  The same difficult happened last time on TM4 UCx24# at SHC when leak check. But,it is solved by pressurize the line at SHC last time.

The HS line was pressurized with 70 psi helium on Oct 04th at TCS.. LD 0,00X E-9atm.cc/sec no change in 2 minutes. No leak.

TM3 leak check at conditioning station without target: TM3 all air to vacuum seals have been leak checked . They are all good. Water lines TAR(+-), TUBE(+-), GAS, MSP , COIL2(+-), EE, HS(1,2) , GE,and WINDOW have been helium pressurized to 70 psi for 2 minutes each . No response had been found on leak detector. They are leak tight.. Leak detector BR 0.0xE-9atm.cc/sec, BP 0.0xE-4 torr. TM3 and CS vacuum: PNG15.2xE-6 torr, IG1 8.8xE-7 torr,IG2 2.8xE-6torr, IG1S 1.3xE-6 torr.

Chad and I leak checked TM2 tube heater(+) water line yesterday afternoon. The water line was difficult to pump down on base leak rate, but LD  base pressure was fine . The base pressure on leak detector was pumped to 0.0XE-4 torr quickly. The base leak rate only could be pumped  to  4.5 xE-8 atm.cc/sec after 1 hour waiting time. All vacuum connections to leak detector  in the target hall were leak checked and they were good. Chad checked helium flow in SHC. He sprayed helium twice on tube heater(+) water block soldering joints. I did not see any response on leak detector in TH.The base Leak rate and base pressure did not move up during the test.  See attachment pictures.

Bevan and I did a leak check on TM2 tube heater+ from inside service cap in TH. The leak detector base leak rate 0.0xE-9 atm.cc/sec, base  pressure 0.0xE-4totrr. One of side panel on service cap was opened. Bevan sprayed the helium to the "D" line inside the blue insulator. The helium flow was checked , and he sprayed twice. No response has been found on leak detector.  See attachment pictures

Chad and I  did the Leak checked TM2 tube heater (+) water line  with rubber insert plugged water block on " D"  in SHC. The Leak detector was very easy to pump down to the bottom leak rate and pressure. Chad checked the helium flow in SHC, and sprayed 10 second helium on  the block. There is no response had been found during the test. The test was repeated again and no leak has been found. See attachment pictures.

TM3 has had all of the water lines pressurized with Helium and the Helium Leak detector was connected to the turbo pumps. There were no leaks detected.

While pressurizing the lines it was found some of the lines had water in them. It is unknown where this water came from. Perhaps David connected the conditioning station last time it was in? Lines that were free of water were A, B, C, and window The leak detector pumped down to 4.0 x 10^-3 Torr and the leak rate was 1.4 x 10^-9 atm-cc/sec, there was no response during the leak test and the leak rate continued to decrease during the test.

Isaac and I leak checked TM4 HS line with new UCX target. The leak detector base LR 0.0xE-9 atm.cc/sec, base pressure0.0xE-4torr. Isaac sprayed helium  on both VCR connections(5 seconds each) and flushed helium around the target for 6 seconds. No response on leak detector.

Chad and I leak checked TM4 HS water line with new Ta#45 target installed at SHC. Leak detector base leak rate 0.0Xe-9 atm.cc/sec, base pressure 0.0Xe-4 torr. Chad sprayed helium twice on each of HS 2 VCR joints. No leak has been found. The joints are leak tight. The helium pressure test  will be done at CS later.

This morning Chad and I leak checked TM4 HS line with new Ta#44 target installed. I calibrated LD before the check. Before check, the LD base LR 0.0xE-9 atm.cc/sec, base LP 0.0xE-4 torr. Chad sprayed helium on both VCR fittings and did a flush around the target. There is no any response had been found on LD,. The line is good on leak tight. with spray method.  No helium pressure test on the HS line at CS since TM4 was moved back to ITE directly.

Chad and I leak checked TM4 HS line with Ta#42 target on the module. The leak detector base LR 0.0xE-9 atm.cc/sec, base pressure0.0xE-4 torr. Chad applied helium to the joints, and flushed the helium around the target. No leak has been found.I will do helium pressure test on this circuit at CS later.

Chad and I leak checked the HS line at SHC after UCX target installation. On first round helium spray, one of VCR fitting has a leak to E-6 atm.cc/sec range. Chad tightened the fitting, and solved the problem. We leak checked both VCR fittings twice. No leak. The line will be helium pressured at CS tomorrow.

Chad and I did the leak check   on TM2 tube heater (+) water line  with blank off and C-seal  installed on  WB at South Hot Cell. The line was easy to pump down to 0.0xE-9atm.cc/sec and 0.0XE-4 torr on leak detector. Chad flushed lot helium around the water block (10 sec spray). No response had been found on leak detector.

Entry  Tuesday, September 15, 2015, 08:24, David Wang, South Hot-Cell, Repair, TM1, UCx 13, Leak check on TM1 window circuit soldering stems in service cap.

I did a leak check on TM1 window circuit  2 soldering  stems in service cap.The round side panel was opened for the job. I sprayed helium on the stems for 10 seconds. The leak detector got a tiny response(from 0.0xE-9 atm.cc/sec to 2.0xE-9 atm.cc/sec). The test  repeated again. The second time, LD climbed  to 1.2xE-9atm.cc/sec. It looks like there is a very tiny leak on the stems soldering spots. But , this is not the same leak we found from SHC helium spray which LD climbed to 1.4xE-8atm.cc/sec with only one click helium spray by Chad.

Because of the high air flow at SHC when the round panel is removed, The result is not conclusive. The same test is done at silo without  airflow. We found a big leak on this soldering stems . See later e-log.
