TM#1 has been moved from the North West silo to the conditioning station.

Entry  Wednesday, April 05, 2017, 14:13, David Wang, Conditioning Station, Maintenance, TM1, , TM1 and TCS vacuum system are connected together

I started two turbo-pumps on TM1 and one small TP on TCS. They are work fine.

Entry  Thursday, April 06, 2017, 12:33, David Wang, Conditioning Station, Repair, TM1, , TM1 rust inpsection and removal

TM1 inside service cap surface and shielding plug surface are visually inspected yesterday. No rust has been found. I cleaned all rust on top of TM1  today.  Rust on TM1 silo  top plate are cleaned as well.

Entry  Friday, April 07, 2017, 09:53, Travis Cave, Conditioning Station, Maintenance, TM1, no target, Electrical Check and TM1 other checks TM1_elec_chk_no_tgt.PDF

Results of an electrical check on TM#1 with no target attached to it.

I use this e-log entry for TM1 notes as well  1. TM1 IG1 is a dual filament gauge . Its filament is very close to grid now. It shorted one time during the pumping down. It still works fine so far . But, we may need to change it if we use this module in TS again.

TCS 1G1 and 1G1S are pumped to 5Xe-6 torr. IG2 stayed at 2.5XE-5 torr. Since no target is installed on module , I capped top of HS water line. Maybe, the small o-ring seal in cap is too old, I found a big leak on this seal when i use LD check it. That is the reason IG2 stayed too high. Still, Leak check and helium presuure test are fulfilled on TM1. Leak detector BLR 5XE-7 atm.cc/sec, BP 0.0XE-4 torr9.  Back up pressure is 51 mtorr which is high because of leak on HS line cap seal so LD BLR is high. At this level, Ta+-, Tube +-, MSP,  EE are good.  Other air to vacuum seal are good as well at this leak rate.  I will check and change small o-ring seal in HS cap. The TM1 is functional basically.

TM#1 has been moved from the conditioning station to the north west silo.  There was a slight delay in the move as the limits for the hoist drum got way out of whack and had to be adjusted.

Entry  Wednesday, January 17, 2018, 10:38, Anders Mjos, Spent Target Vault, Standard Operation, TM1, , Old TM1 Source Tray moved to Cyclotron basement

The old TM1 Source Tray from 2011 has been moved to Cyclotron basement this morning. Source tray was stored in location 10. The box was moved from the vault to the ante-room yesterday. No contamination was found on the box. Photos

Entry  Wednesday, January 24, 2018, 13:30, David Wang, Conditioning Station, Standard Operation, TM1, , TM1 has been moved to TCS this morning

Tm1 has been moved to TCS this morning. All turbo-pumps are started successfully at TCS and TM1.

Entry  Monday, January 29, 2018, 06:51, David Wang, Conditioning Station, Maintenance, TM1, , TCS and TM1 vacuum pumps switched off

TCS and Tm1 vacuum pumps are switched off this morning. TM1 TP1and TP2 work fine during this test period. Tm1 will be moved back to silo this morning.

TM1 IG1 stopped work during the test period. It could be broken. We will only replace this gauge if TM1 is used in ITW again.

Entry  Wednesday, May 22, 2019, 08:33, Travis Cave, Conditioning Station, Standard Operation, TM1, no target, Module move

TM#1 has been moved from the north west silo to the conditioning station for the day it will be moved back to the silo tomorrow morning.

Entry  Wednesday, May 22, 2019, 11:52, David Wang, Conditioning Station, Maintenance, TM1, , TM1 inpsection.

TM1 shielding plates and their holding bolts are inspected. No corrosion.  TM1 is located at TCS now. Both TP1 and TP2 are started.

Entry  Thursday, May 23, 2019, 08:39, Travis Cave, South Hot-Cell, Standard Operation, TM1, no target, Module move

TM#1 has been moved from the south hot cell to the northwest silo.

Entry  Monday, July 25, 2011, 14:49, Travis Cave, Spent Target Vault, Standard Operation, , Ta#35, Spent target move

Ta#35, in pail #88, has been place into spent target storage, in spot 6C. Upon removal from the South Hot Cell it was 411mSv/hr our hottest target to be placed into storage to date. There are 8 free slots for targets left in the vault.

Entry  Wednesday, September 14, 2011, 10:32, Travis Cave, Spent Target Vault, Standard Operation, , Ta#37, Spent target move

Ta#37 has been moved from the south hot cell into the storage vault. The target is in pail #89 and in spot 6A in the vault. It was 840uSv/hr upon removal from the south hot cell. There are 7 free spots left in the vault.

The spent UCx #2 target has been moved into storage. It was placed in tray 5A and is in Pail #91, it was 8.91mSv/hr upon removal from the south hot cell. There are 5 free slots left in the storage vault.

Entry  Thursday, November 10, 2011, 14:33, Travis Cave, Spent Target Vault, Standard Operation, , , Spent Target Assay

For the week of November 7th 2011, four of a possible ten targets that are in storage were assayed. Targets are as follows:

Target             General average field @ 1 metre from edge of pail

SiC#24           1.99 mSv/hr

Nb#4               3.89 mSv/hr

Ta#25              4.57 mSv/hr

Ta#37              0.47 mSv/hr

These four are all viable spent targets to be shipped. We still need another couple of days of "UNINTERRUPTED" time to assay the remaining six targets, for us to have enough to make a ship of five to Chalk River.

Entry  Thursday, November 17, 2011, 11:51, Travis Cave, Spent Target Vault, Standard Operation, , TaC#1, Spent target move

TaC#1 was moved from the south hot cell to the storage vault. It was placed in pail#92 and put in vault slot 7B. It was 239mSv/hr upon removal from the south hot cell.

Entry  Thursday, December 15, 2011, 13:08, Travis Cave, Spent Target Vault, Standard Operation, , , Spent Target Assay Vault_Storage_December_14_2011.pdf

Spent target assay completed. A total of 16 target were looked at, 13 were low enough to be assayed and those 13 are at shippable levels, the other 3 of the 16 looked at were too hot to ship and assay. See attached pdf for complete details.
