I disconnected TM4 in ITE this morning. The heat shield circuit has been purged with air.

Entry  Tuesday, October 09, 2012, 11:17, Bevan Moss, ITE, Standard Operation, TM4, NiO#1, Module Move

TM4 with NiO#1 was moved from ITE to the SHC today. The move went well with no issues.

Entry  Wednesday, October 24, 2012, 11:51, Travis Cave, ITE, Standard Operation, TM4, UCx#5, module moved

Yesterday TM#4 with UCx#5 was moved to the east target station from the conditioning station,  move went well.

Entry  Wednesday, October 31, 2012, 11:24, David Wang, ITE, Standard Operation, TM4, , Transfer five shielding blocks from ITW to ITE.

Bevan and I transferred five shielding blocks from ITW to ITE. ITE is ready for taking proton beam.

Entry  Wednesday, November 14, 2012, 11:04, David Wang, ITE, Repair, TM4, , Change ITE dump water circiut flow wheel

I changed ITE dump water circuit flow wheel due to its poor performance. The new flow wheel works fine. The signal on electrical board is strong and constant. One shielding block on ITE was moved out for the job, and it has been moved back after the job.The ITE is ready to take proton beam. Travis was with me when i did the job.

Around 7pm tonight I opened the main valve approximately 1.5 turns on the Argon bottle used for venting ITE, located in the ISAC electrical room. The cylinder pressure gauge increased to about 1500 psi. I adjusted the secondary regulator (pressure relief valve) until it read 2psi. I opened the needle valve in the vent line completely. The pressure on the pressure relief valve dropped slightly and I adjusted it again until it read 2psi. The Argon supply should be ready for venting ITE w/ TM4. The station should be vented around midnight to prepare for TM4 disconnect tomorrow morning. If there are problems with the venting process, an operator should check the pressure on the secondary regulator / pressure relief valve to ensure it is reading 2psi. - Grant Minor

Entry  Friday, March 01, 2013, 11:35, David Wang, ITE, Maintenance, TM4, , Leak check on ITE and TM4.
The leak check on TM4 and ITE is done. All primary vacuum vessel , secondary vacuum vessel  on TM4 and ITE are leak tight. There is no any response had been found on leak detector(leak detector base LR 0.0xE-9 arm.cc/sec). All water lines had been pressurized to 70 psi helium for 3 minutes. They are all perfect leak tight( I cant find even a tiny response on leak detector) except GE water cooling line. On the GE water line, the leak detector got a instantaneous response once I applied the helium to the circuit. The leak rate climbed directly from 0.0xe-9 atm.cc/sec to 1.5 xe-5 atmcc/sec even if I stopped the helium pressurizing immediately. Once I purged the helium out of the line, the leak rate return to 0.0XE-9 atm.cc/sec quickly. I repeated the test on GE water line again and got exactly same result as the before. I would say the leak on the ITE GE water circuit isn't a small leak. The same test could be fulfilled once the TM4 is in CS later.
Entry  Friday, March 08, 2013, 15:50, Bevan Moss, ITE, Standard Operation, TM4, CS Test Target #1, Module Move from ITE to SHC

Today David and I moved the module from ITE to the SHC. Move went very smoothly, David operated the cameras and has had basic training in how to manually lock out the controls.

Entry  Wednesday, March 27, 2013, 11:49, David Wang, ITE, Standard Operation, TM4, Sic LIS-RFQ , Connected TM4 in ITE

TM4 has been reconnected to ITE after the module moving. The roughing is started . The water will be supplied to ITE after  testing  the water  pumps . The water interlock check will be done on next week also.

Entry  Wednesday, April 03, 2013, 12:26, David Wang, ITE, Maintenance, TM4, Sic LIS/RFQ, Leak check on ITE TM4.

TM 4 had been leak check in ITE due to   relatively high PNG1 and IG1 readings. All TM4 primary and secondary  vessel air to vacuum seals had been leak checked. All water lines in TM4 had been helium pressured . There is no leak had been found so far.
