TM2 new source tray has been remotely transferred into SHC successfully. The transfer table has been moved back to TH within 1 hour.  I swiped the table and found about 150counts contamination. It is much better comparing to last time using since we removed this table out of SHC as quick as we can. The table will be cleaned with windex  after Target Hall is surveyed.

Entry  Tuesday, November 12, 2013, 12:43, Bevan Moss, Conditioning Station, Standard Operation, TM2, , TM2 moved from SHC to TCS

TM2 was moved by myself and David from the SHC to the TCS. Move went well. Curiously the fields on the module were measured higher than the previous measurement (now ~5.8mSv/hour) .

TM2 has been moved from TCS to SHC. The move is smooth.

TM2 was remotely moved from the South Hot Cell to SW Silo. Reading at SHC = 89.8 mSv/h. The move was smooth.

Entry  Tuesday, December 03, 2024, 10:51, Adam Newsome, South Hot-Cell, Standard Operation, TM2, , TM2 move - ITE to SHC

TM2 was moved from ITE to SHC with Ta#68 target. During the move, a railing was lightly bumped by the corner of the module - no obvious damage or issues have been observed. Otherwise, the move was smooth.

I leak checked TM2 at conditioning station this morning. All air to vacuum seals on the top of the module are good. All water lines are pressured with 60 psi helium for minutes each. One of the tube heater + water line( 2lines for tube heater + for supply and return) has a huge response on 60 psi helium pressurizing. The leak rate went from 6.0xE-9atm.cc/sec to maximum leak rate in 5 seconds and I saw a pressure increasing either. when I pressurize the other side tube heater + line ,the leak detector also had a response, but it is slower than first side .Since the top of the water adaptor isn't sealed , so I think the leak should be in one line only. All other water lines are leak tight since I didnt see any obvious response on leak detector at 5 to 6x E-9 atm.cc/sec which is very low on leak rate.

The following water circuits in TM2 are connected at TCS and running with water now : target oven+ - ( one circuit), tube heater+ -( one circuit), coil1 and 2(one circuit), MSP, and EE. The HS and window are open circuits now so they can not be supplied with water.  During the check before we knew HS and window circuit were close to perfectly sealed. So, The test result should not be affected without them

The TCS water pumps are started at 8:28 AM. All TCS high vacuum gauge readings are getting slight better after that.

Anders and I finished the most part of TM2 water lines helium pressure test yesterday.I list the system parameters and test result as below:

TCS  IG1: 9.8XE-8 torr,  TCS IG2: 9.6Xe-7 torr, TCS IG1S: 3.5XE-9 torr, TCS CG1A: 10 m torr

Helium pressure: 70 psi. Test time: 5 minutes for each individual circuit.  1 hour for all  lines together test.

Leak detector base leak rate:0.0 X E -9 atm.cc/sec, base pressure 0.0X E-4 torr. LD was always restored or closely restored to the bottom  scale after each individual test.

Circuit Result (atm.cc/sec)
EE 0.0X E-9
Target Oven + 0.0X E-9
Coil 1   P-Q 0.0X E-9
Target Oven - 1.0X E-9
Tube Heater- 4.1X E-9
Tube heater+ 1.6X E-8
Coil 2    R-U 6.6X E-9
MSP 1.4X E-7
All above together (1 hour) 2.3X E-7
HS Open circuit . No test
Window Open circuit.  No test.
GE  7.2X E-7

The HS and Window lines will be tested later with new target installed and  window line gaskets restored.
