PLEASE NOTE: the resistance values for A and B on David's attachment are not correct since these measurements were done after Chad removed the target and the heat-shield bracket was moved, so consequently the water lines were not at their nominal locations. Once they were back in plac,e David took another measurement and the resistance values for A and B showed also 3,000 MOhm (as it was for most of the lines). The only lines that still showed a low resistance were the Coil lines.

Last Friday July-15, TM3 was leak checked at TCS. All air to vacuum seals on service cap are good. Helium pressure test on TM3 water lines(except GE, HS, and Window) were done. Leak detector has no response at 0.0xE-9 atm.cc/sec. They are leak free.

Friday July 15: did HV tests (with no target installed and with the anode wire removed ).
TM3 went up to 22.5kV. At this voltage it started sparking. The EL was kept at 1/2 with respect to the HV BIAS.
Also HV tests were done while the EL was kept at zero V. In this case, the EL voltage was once in a while spiking up (up to 4kV).
During sparking we saw responses in the vacuum. Checked the Service Cap (with the HV Cover) in the Target Hall: we couldn't hear/see sparks there.
The HV was turned off in the same day, after 5:30pm.

I started vacuum system.

I started TCS water system. The chiller does not work properly still. But, It will not affect the TM3 HV conditioning. HV cover is installed on TM3 in TH. The module is ready for HV conditioning.

Requested by Aurelia, and approved by Friedhelm, TM3 service tray cover plate ITA2108 has been remove out of the module. The plated is checked for active and contamination after removal. Then,It is double bagged, sealed , tagged, and placed downstairs in TH between south wall and green block . The ram contact reading on the plate is about 10 usv/hr. We will do anther TM3 HV test at TCS without this cover plate.

Entry Wednesday, September 07, 2016, 11:44, Travis Cave, Conditioning Station, Standard Operation, TM3, no target, module moved

TM#3 has been moved from the NE Silo to the conditioning station.

Entry Thursday, September 08, 2016, 16:28, David Wang, Conditioning Station, Repair, TM3, , TM3 blue insulators have been replaced.

All TM3 blue insulators except Gas,EL, and 60 KV common on top of the module have been replaced with new designed insulators. The new blue insulator for gas line need to be modified to fit for the bent on the gas line. EL, and 60KV common blue insulators were replaced during last time TM3 refurbishment so they are relative new, and not replaced this time. All seals related to the blue insulators are changed to new seals. The o- r-ing surfaces for o-ring 221 inside the new insulators are rougher than old parts. The module top need to be leak checked.

start of roughing now.

start of TCS and TM3 turbo-pumps. Everything is good so far.

Entry Monday, September 12, 2016, 09:25, David Wang, Conditioning Station, Repair, TM3, , TM3 leak checked at TCS

After blue insulators replacement, TM3 service cap are leak checked. LD base leak rate 0.0xe-9 atm.cc/sec. I sprayed lots helium on all blue insulator seals. No leak has been found. Double checked them again, and got same result. All other seals on top of TM3 also have been checked. They are leak free. OVEN, TUBE, MSP, COIL, and EE water lines are pressurized with 70 psi helium for 3minutes each. They are good also.
