Friday, March 04, 2016, 12:34, David Wang, ITE, Standard Operation, TM4, , TM4 ITE annual leak check
|
Dan and I finished TM4 and ITE annual leak check on primary and secondary vacuum vessel. We found one leak on a KF25 blank off which is located
on the top of the service cap. It is a low E-7 atm.cc/sec range leak. But, it is very close to turbo-pumps so ITE IG1 and other gauges are not affected
by it very much. It is an easy fix. TheKF -25 center ring on the blank off will be replaced after vent . It be will leak checked again at CS |

|
I brought up TCS bias to 57.5 KV on TM4 without source tray at TCS. It was kept at this level about 1.0 hours. Some intermediate sparks. No spark trip
on devices. 57.5KV is very close to the HV up limit of this module. |
Tuesday, August 29, 2017, 08:59, David Wang, Conditioning Station, Standard Operation, TM4, , TM4 HS line leak checks
|
TM4 HS line leak checks are done, at SHC and TCS. SHC: Helium spray. TCS: Helium pressurize 70psi. LD base LR 0.0 X E-9 atm.cc/sec.
No leak has been found on both leak checks. |

|
Chad and I leak checked TM4 HS line after UCx 24 is installed. No leak at 5xE-9atm.cc/sec. Today, I did helium pressure test on HS line at TCS.
No leak at 70 psi helium 0.0xE-9 atm.cc/sec. |

Both helium spray and helium pressurize on TM4 HS line withUCx31 target are done at SHC and TCS. No leak. |
Thursday, July 25, 2013, 10:08, David Wang, Conditioning Station, Standard Operation, TM4, SiC #29, TM4 HS helium pressure test andTM4 connection at CS
|
Bevan and I did a helium pressure test on TM4 HS water circuit at CS. The leak detector is pumped to the bottom scale(E-9 atm.cc/sec and E-4torr). We
applied 70 psi helium to the HS circuit for 3 minutes . No response had been found. I also leak checked IG1 flange which was replaced yesterday.
It is good. We connected the TM4 to CS and put the HV cover on. The water cooling system will be started soon. |
Tuesday, October 20, 2015, 13:52, chad fisher, South Hot-Cell, Maintenance, , , TM4 Febiad coil line disposal
|
The febiad coil line removed from TM4 has been cut into pieces small enough to be disposed of in a 5 gal pal. The line was cut with a Ridgid Model 104
manual pipe cutter (using the manipulators of course).
This pieces constitute the bulk of the field in the hot cell and will be disposed of with the next spent target. |

|
Wires were pulled in TM3 and service cap was closed up again:
Einzel lens wire (30kV kapton), routed in the pumping duct and attached with #10 ring tongue to EZL feedthrough in service cap
4 steerer wires, routed in th pumping duct and attached with push on connectors to the 4 SHV feedthroughs on the module side panel. Coax grounding |

Friday, September 13, 2013, 07:49, David Wang, Conditioning Station, Development, TM3, , TM3 water lines leak check at CS
|
I leak checked TM3 water lines at CS with 60 psi and 80psi helium. The base leak rate is 5.0xe-9 atm.cc/sec. Each circuit 3 minutes helium pressurizing
for each time test. No any respose had been found on leak detector during the test. See attachment |

The installation of the module side water block jig has been successful.
During initial attempts yesterday afternoon,
installation of the jig proved, as expected to be extremely difficult. This was primarily due a poorly position water block from a previous repair were |

TM3 old source tray, old target hall high active water resin tank, and old 2A window RH clamp are transferred from TH to cyclotron lower vault
basement 10 and 10A location for storage. They are placed beside and in front of old TM1 and TM2 source tray boxes which stored there in 2018. |
