David made electrical check right after TM4 is moved from ITW to SHC. see attachment pls.

• Water from waterline found puddled on source-tray and containment box. 
• Water was wiped up as much as possible, but likely still in containment box 
• leaving to dry overnight
• Target inserted into Hotcell with nuts for the parasitic target. 4/4 socket nuts installed on upstream flange, and 3/4 installed on downstream flange

• TiC#9 HP-SIS installed onto TM4 
• Leak check passed after retightening VCR joint
• Target Electrode Conductor screws torqued to 130 inch-lbs 
• Electrical test passed 
• Containment box cover reinstalled

Parasitic Targets Removed

• Left target has residue left from ablation

 TiC#9 was placed in Pail 299 in spot 8A of the vault and was 92.1mSv/hr when removed from the south hot cell. See attached pdf for full vault details.

Tong cable snapped when attempting to remove multipin connector bracket 

Assistance from Chad required for the rest of procedure 

Tic#9 was loaded into Pail#299 

• Along with fixing and conductor bolts (no other material was loaded)

TM3 has been connected in ITW. See attachment for checklist.

 On Friday October 11th TiC#8 and Ta#67 were place in the spent target vault in Tray 8. See attached PDF for details.

With TiC # 8 installed, TM3 has been moved from SHc to ITW. The move is smooth.

With the new TiC#8 target installed on TM3, there was a ~7kOhm connection between TGHT/TBHT (A/B/C/D) and HV common. The standard electrical check on the module showed standard values, so it was assumed the problem was inside the target.

Started removing bolts/water connections one by one to see if any of them had an effect on the measurement. Found that disconnecting the multipin on the target from the mating connector on the source tray resolved the issue. Determined that the only way this could happen is if a spark cut through the insulation covering the multipin wires. Because of the way they are routed, they can touch the water lines and they are definitely touching waterline C, TBHT-. We do not typically check continuity of multipins to all water lines, just to HVC, so did not see this in the standard electrical check. Measurements verified that pin 2-4 was touching water line C, creating a short from TGHT/TBHT to HV common when the multipin connector is attached, since the pins are shorted to HVC inside the connector when they are not used.

Issue was solved by removing the target into the ante room, removing connector 1 all together since it was not used, and removing the grounding on the other pins, leaving only pin 2-2 connected for the anode.

In future we will change the IGLIS wiring so pin 2-4 is not used, and redesign the cable routing so it cannot touch the blocks. For the immediate term, we will add to the electrical check a check of each pin to TBHT/TGHT/COIL.

 TM3 is disconnected and all water lines are purged/refilled with 50psi Nitrogen. Pls see pics attached with.

TiC#7 Currently sitting in SHC waiting for disposal 

TM4 and TiC#7 target electrical check and HS leak check at SHC after target installation have been done.  all results are good. I will attach the checklist when printer is back to work.

TM4 HS line was helium pressure tested at TCS this morning. No leak. Also i leak checked TM4 top all air to  vacuum seals at TCS. Everything is good.

TiC #7 is a febiad target.TM4 top has been configured for febiad target. checked pin 2-2 to bias, target ,and chassis at 250V. they are all OL.  

TM4 has been moved from SHC to TCS. The move is successfully.
