TM#1 with UCx#4 has been moved from the conditioning station to the west target station move went well.

TM#1 with UCx#4 moved from the conditioning to the west target station move went well.

TM#1 with UCx#4 has been moved from the west target station to the south hot cell. Move went well.

UCx#4 has been moved from the south hot cell to the spent target vault. The target was placed in pail #99 and now resides in spot 3C of the vault. It measured 55.3mSv/hr at ~1m from the hot cell. See attached PDF for further spent target vault details.

 An electrical check was done on NHC yesterday.

TM2 with UCX#39 HS line helium pressure test is done at TCS. 70 psi helium 3minutes. No leak @0.0XE-9 atm.cc/sec.

 TM2 with UCx#39 is connected in ITW.

 TM2 with spent target UCx#39 was disconnected in ITW then moved to NHC.

 TM2 with spent target UCx#39 had an electric check in NHC.

After UCx 39# target was removed out., I did electrical check on TM2.   @500 V B to C is 5M ohm. all Others between are above 25Mohm. HV to Chasis is 650Mohm.  A to P is still short.

Did the PIE on UCx#39-IGLIS on Thursday Nov. 2 2022, couple pictures uploaded to docushare. Did not remove the target, just the heat shield cover.

Final electrical check on the module showed a dead short from TGHT/TBHT to HV common, which we did not see online. Seems like it must have occurred after ramp down? It persisted on the target after we removed it from the module. We couldn't find any obvious contact points, because it seems it did not happen while current was running in the target. Possible locations are the bottom support leg for the TBHT and the top of the right side target leg, though it was difficult to confirm with the camera.

Otherwise the only thing to note was a blacker-than-usual spot on the inside of the Cu heat shield, downstream in the proton direction.

 A electrical check was done for TM2 with UCx#38

 A standard electrical check was done for TM2 after the short issue be fixed.

 TM2 with Target UCx#38 was connected in ITW.

UCx#38 developed a short between the plasma electrode and the extraction electrode about 30mins after reaching full temperature in the conditioning station. The decision was made to bring it into the anteroom and try to clean it there.

To do this, it was uninstalled, the parasitic attachments were removed and it was brought into the ante room.

I removed the EE and the PE, and cleaned quite a lot of material from them both with methanol. I think put the ionizer foil bar down the ionizer to help dislodge any material there, and I also turned the target over and tapped gently to get any material out. The first two times some flakes came out, the third time nothing came out. I then reinstalled the electrodes using the EE alignment tool (not sure how successfully, didn't push it into the ionizer too much because I was worried about catching the Rh foil).

The taret was meggered at 500V then reinstalled and electrical checks were done. Everything looks back to normal. Conditioning in ITW was successful.
