Two thermocouples were inserted through the left side of the copper heat shield, see attachment #1.  One thermocouple is attached to the target
tube with a Ta-wire, and the other is attached to the back block.

It was discovered that one of the insulators that supported the target module broke apart (see Attachment#1).  This might be caused by the
heat from the target legs that reflected back from the base to the insulators.  The burnt marks are the evidence.

Both the IEVAP2:TBHT and IEVAP2:TGHT maximum current setpoints on the vacuum page (see page: /edl/ievap2_vacuum1.edl) are wrong.
For IEVAP2:TGHT, the maximum current setpoint should be 1500A (see page: /edl/ievap2tghtcp.edl), not 1000A.

This is to test the newly developed RFQ target to be commissioned this year.  The purpose of this test is to see how well the RFQ components
can sustain the high temperature.  One thermocouple is connected inside the target and the other is connect outside of the Cu heat-shield.  RGA

The purpose of this experiment is to determined the limiting operating temperature for Beta-SiC.  To do so, samples will be heated in sequence
to observe any volatile Si coated on the window.  The coating is observed above 1400C for the conventional SiC (mixuture of alpha and beta) and this
coating leads to HV shorting problem.

Three samples were prepared  (see my logbook#1 page 3, preparing for carbonization).
One layer of Ta foil was used to wrap around the target boat.
