Both turbo pumps at the source box were found off. TSG:TP1A has been started normally. TSG:TP1B does not spin up above 3KRPM even after several attemps. A fault report has been send to vacuum group.

after about 30 minutes running at normal speed TP1A failed as well. Both pumps will be kept off over night. |

The insulator for the tube heater was observed to be glowing with a blue shine when the target was on high voltage. The insulator was glowing on the side closest to the 9-pin connector. See attached photo. |
