Variable leak valve returned yesterday (2017-01-18). New calibrated leaks installed. Ar and Ne. System leak checked OK after. |

The voltage is set correctly: have 6.238V setpoint and 4.386V readback. The reading on the Power Supply shows 418A. Through the window the target assembly looks at high temperature. The readback on Epics seems stuck. E-Fault for Controls 6389 |

MB1 can not be switched on due to an TSH:MB1 water flow trip. Paddle wheel is rotating.

Tom H. had a look at it this afternoon & determined the PS is operating, however the signal going to it is peculiar. Controls group as been notified as well. Awaiting further response.

No idea what this means - maybe it checks for AC power?

Friday, February 09, 2018, 11:38 TSGBIASSAFETY ok interlock problem seems to have solved itself, it now appears to be working fine. Will turn off power for now and continue tests on Tuesday. (note: turns out Mike told Dave about the problem and he solved it. No one knows what this interlock is for, but it used to be reset using the Global Reset button and now the RST button for the power supply should also reset it.) |

after about 30 minutes running at normal speed TP1A failed as well. Both pumps will be kept off over night. |

Once the turbo pump cooling line was loosened slightly, a slight water leak occurred. Line snapped. Water leak. Valves to all turbo pump cooling closed.
***NOTE*** - From Thursday, November 24, 2016, 08:05: TMS:TP2

*** Note *** : One of the copper cooling lines was leaking. The line was fixed. Monitor. <---- Due to this recurring issue, the decision was made to air cool the turbo pumps.
Tuesday, April 18, 2017, 14:10: Air cooling to replace water cooling. TSG : TP1A already has air cooling. Replace the cooling on the other 3 of 4 turbo pumps.

Corrected title from off to timed out . It seems the controller lost contact with the pump when I touched the rack. The pump recovered right back to 38 kRPM upon restart.
