I leak checked TM2 at CS this afternoon which including air to vacuum check on service cap and helium pressure test on water lines. There is a small leak on water line R ,U (COIL1) during the helium pressure test.. Below 20 psi helium, there is no leak on it. But , once the helium pressure is increased over 20 psi, it showed up on Leak Detector. At 60 psi helium, the leak rate is 9.4xE-9 atm.cc/sec. For detail information, See attachment.  All other water lines and air to vacuum seals are good.

  963   Friday, June 26, 2015, 09:44 chad fisherSouth Hot-CellRepairTM2 TM2 Retrofit Status

On June 25th the following work was completed:

Optics tray was installed into TM2. The lower fastener on the vertical cable tray (IRH1585) needed to be removed and vertical cable tray rotated upwards as optics tray would not clear cable tray. Optics tray was intstaled, cable tray repositioned and screw re-inserted.

Modified water block for 9 pin connector was installed.

Steerers connected.

Ground Electrode water blocks were "repositioned" closer to there specified position to attempt eliminating the short between the ground electrode line and coil 1 circuit. This was successful but could still use a clamp or other method of ensuring the ground electrode line is in its "proper" place.

9 pin connector line was rerouted to ensure it does not contact anything it is not suppose to (Rerouting directions provided by Anders).

Enzel lens cable was installed.

Blank offs removed from window water lines and new gaskets installed in preparation for installation of the containment box.

953   Friday, June 19, 2015, 11:43 David WangITWRepairTM1 ITW external water leak on dump circuit

There was an external water leak in ITW during the last beam running time. The leak started after the shielding blocks transfer(May 22). It cause a constantly water level drop on S-tank(0.5 "/day average). Today , after the blocks are moved , the leak source has been found. Water seeped through a fitting on ITW dump circuit pressure gauge. The leak water slowly flow around the TM1 on the tank flange. most of them are dried out, but left some stain on dump module and tank flange. By closing the supply and return water valves on the ITW dump circuit, the leak is stopped now. We will fix this problem after the module is moved out and the radioactive field is low.  See attachments.
