When lifting up TM2 (20000lbs) this afternoon, TH crane has a strange noise on main hoist. The module was lift up less than 1 feet.when strange sound was noticed.  The module move was stopped right away,and module  was lowed back to SHC. The strange noise was confirmed later with SEG block six inches lifting up. Gordon crane technician will be here to tomorrow morning to investigate the problem.

TCS IG1S  is switched on as well. The reason to start the pump is to prepare a possible extended TM2 conditioning at TCS caused by TH crane issue. TCS:TP1 and TP2 are not switched on for this.

TM2 was moved and connected in ITW yesterday afternoon. After roughing down, ITW turbo pumps are started. ITW TP4 can not be started to full speed. ISAC ops kept it at low speed mode with less than 1.0A current draw on pump. ITW IG1s shows red as well. I will take a look on them today when beam is off.

This afternoon Ta#51 was removed from TM2 and SiC#36 installed.

All new fasteners used. High current fasteners torqued to 130 in lbs.

I started all turbo pumps.

The attachment can not be opened for some reasons. Please check TM2 leak check  2017-03-13 e- log for last time test result and comment.

Reconfigured TM2 gas line on the module top. It matches with the febiad gas line we are using on service tray now. Facing the module, both of them should be that right side line of two SST lines on feed-through. The gas line on TM2 was leak checked with a blind cap installed on service tray side and LD connected on module top this Tuesday. It is leak free with helium spray on the top of module and service tray.

TM#2 with SiC#36 has been moved from the conditioning station to the west target station.

Yasmine and I connected TM2 in ITW today. the control page is set to febiad mode. Both gas line in ITW are opened for febiad run. All connections are double checked. Module connection checklist is finished.  All turbo pumps are started now. Everything is good so far. The TM2 is ready for conditioning when the ITW vacuum is good enough.

Tm2 was disconnected in ITW yesterday. ITW EL cable crimp ring was broken. John Chow replaced this ring this afternoon.

HS line is leak checked at SHC this afternoon by helium spay.  Leak detector base LR 0.0 XE-9atm.cc/sec. Base pressure 0.0Xe-4 torr. No leak has been found. This line will be helium pressured  at TCS. It had  a 1.7XE-7 atm.cc/sec leak rate on 70 psi helium at TCS  during last two target  checks.

 2017-08-03. Helium pressure test on TM2 HS line at TCS is done. 70psi helium, 3 minutes. base leak rate 0.0xE-7 atm.cc/sec. Result: 1.8XE-7atm.cc/sec leak which is almost same as before. This line has a very small leak on water block seal under helium pressure test  which we knew already.
