TM#2 has been moved from the south hot cell to the south west silo.

During target removal on Wednesday October 12th, the left target heater conductor bolt (ITD0058) could not be removed. The bolt was found to be stuck in the threads (keensert) of the TGHT conductor block (ITA0583). In the process of attempting to remove the bolt, the conductor insulator (ITD0054) cracked (ref assy ITD0052). To allow increased torque to be applied and support the conductor block, a clamping jig (ITD0612) was designed and fabricated. The jig was assembled and it's function tested on the ISAC Test Stand on Friday 14th. On Monday 17th the bolt could be removed using the clamping jig and a socket wrench with an extended handle.

The threads on the removed bolt was damaged. A new set of bolts were therefore prepared and a tap was run through the keensert to restore the threads. The threads in the conductor block was tested and found to be OK using a new bolt.

The spent target could now be removed. Unfortunately the right manipulator failed during installation of a new conductor insulator, which forced the repair of the insulator and installation of the new target (SiC#35) to be postponed until the manipulator can be repaired.

TM#2 has been moved from the south west silo to the south hot cell.

Sic#35 has been installed onto TM2. High current fasteners torqued to 130 in lbs.

Mating of the 9 pin connector was extremely problematic but in the end I was able to get it to mate properly. Noticed left (when facing module in hot cell) febiad coil left twisted a bit when torqued up.

Chad and I did the leak check on TM2 heat shield line. LD base leak rate:0.0xE-9atm.cc/sec. Base pressure:0.0X E-9 torr. The line is leak free.

All turbo pumps are started. Two gas valves for Febiad run are opened. Pumping down is good so far.

Update TH schedule after job delay on TM2 Febiad target. Everything should be back to schedule on last two targets. See attachments.

Chad and I leak checked TM2 HS line with new UCx target installed. Helium spray  2 seconds on each joint and 10seconds flushing around target in SHC. LD base LR: 0.0XE-9atm.cc/sec, base pressure:0.0XE-4 torr. No response has been found on LD during check. The line is leak free.

All vacuum pumps have been started. Air ballast 50seconds on roughing pump. Everything is good  so far.

Thursday, November 24, 2016, 09:43: TCS:WPV1 shows only 12% open. A visual inspection confirms the valve is fully opened. Controls will be contacted to troubleshoot

Interlock key  are returned back to B2 level.TM2 is ready for HV conditioning and heating up at TCS.

Argon venting on TCS and TM2 is processing

Argon venting is done.

All turbo pumps are started. Water system and water signals have been checked. Pumping down on ITW and TM2 is good so far.

TM#2 with UC#18 has been moved to ITW from the conditioning station.
