Targets NiO#1(101), Nb#5(85), TaC#1(92), and ZrC#5(81) have been moved from the storage vault and placed in the mini storage. The F-308 flasks have also been moved in to the target hall as well. The attached are the current statuses of both vaults.

All targets in the mini storage have been moved to F-308s and those flasks have been moved over to rad waste. The transfer of target occurred on January 10th and the flasks were moved to rad waste on January 11th.  Contamination was found on the bottoms of some of the pails and was removed, some of the contamination was difficult but not impossible to remove from the pail bottoms.

 The following targets have been moved from the spent target vault to the mini vault:

#127 - SiC#31 (front)

#132 - SiC#32 

#145 - UC#19

#150 - UC#20

#159 - UC#21 (back) 

Five spent targets have been moved from the Spent Target Vault to Mini Storage in preparation for transfer to F-308s in February. The following targets were moved Ta#35, Ta#39, SiC#27, UC#12, ThO#1

The following targets have been moved to the mini storage from the target storage vault:

1. Ta#38
2. Nb#7
3. TiC#3
4. SiC#29
5. NiO#2

These target will be removed from the mini storage and placed into the F-308's on December 3rd.

Spent targets in the mini storage were placed into the F-308s yesterday, all F-308 have been removed from the the target hall and they no reside for the time being in the hallway between the north and south hot cells.

UC#12 has been moved from the south hot cell and placed into storage. It is in pail #125 and in spot 1C of the vault it had a reading of 25.1mSv/hr upon removal from the south hot cell. See PDF for vault details.

SiC#31 has been moved to the spent target vault. It is in pail #127 and placed in spot 3C of the vault is was 489mSv/hr when removed from the south hot cell. See attached pdf for vault status

The spent ZrC#7 target has been moved from the south hot cell to the spent target vault. The target was placed in pail #129 and then placed in slot 3B of the vault, it was 157mSv/hr upon removal from the south hot cell.

Ta#68 spent target was moved in Pail 300 to storage vault location 5A. The dose rate measured at the South Hot Cell was 429 mSv/h at 1m. The target index spreadsheet has been updated and the current vault configuration is attached to this e-log. At this time, the storage vault is getting quite full - it is planned to remove five pails in January 2025.

Ta#35, in pail #88, has been place into spent target storage, in spot 6C. Upon removal from the South Hot Cell it was 411mSv/hr our hottest target to be placed into storage to date. There are 8 free slots for targets left in the vault.

Ta#37 has been moved from the south hot cell into the storage vault. The target is in pail #89 and in spot 6A in the vault. It was 840uSv/hr upon removal from the south hot cell. There are 7 free spots left in the vault.

The spent Ta#36 has been moved to the storage vault. It was placed in pail #90, and placed into slot 3B, it was 111mSv/hr upon removal from the south hot cell. There are 6 free slots left in the storage vault.

The spent UCx #2 target has been moved into storage. It was placed in tray 5A and is in Pail #91, it was 8.91mSv/hr upon removal from the south hot cell. There are 5 free slots left in the storage vault.

TaC#1 was moved from the south hot cell to the storage vault. It was placed in pail#92 and put in vault slot 7B. It was 239mSv/hr upon removal from the south hot cell.

SiC #26 was moved from the south hot cell into storage today. The target was is in pail # 94 and was placed in slot 1B in the storage vault. The fields of the pail at the hot cell were 118mSv/hr upon pail been removed from the hot cell. Attached is the current status of the storage vault.

The Nb#6 target has been moved from the south hot cell into storage. It was place in pail #95 and is in slot 5C of the vault. See attached file for more details.

SiC#27 has been moved from the south hot cell to the spent target vault. Target was placed in pail #96, placed in slot 3A, the fields at the hot cell were 178mSv/hr. For the latest on the vault see attached document.

Ta#38 was moved from the south Hot Cell to the Spent Target Vault. Target is in pail #97, and was placed into tray 6 slot B of the vault. Field around the pail upon removal from the Hot Cell were 226mSv/hr at about 1/2 metre. See attached PDF for vault details.

The spent UO#3 was moved from the south hot cell to the storage vault. It was in pail 98 and placed in spot 1A of the vault, the field measured upon removal from the hot cell were 42mSv/hr. See attached PDF for vault details.
