TM#2 with Ta#60 is now in the south hot cell.

 The results of the electrical check on TM#2 with the Ta#59 target and without before the target was mounted on the module.

 Here are the results of the electrical done at the south hot cell post beam of with the Ta#58 target attached and with just the module no target attached.

Ta #58 has been installed onto TM2. All new silver plated high current fasteners. All torqued to 130 in lbs.

Tuesday, August 06, 2019, 03:37 : Ramping up 500V every 2mins or so, couple of sparks, then consistent sparks at 34kV. No vacuum response on IG1 for any sparks, even though the current spikes from around 40uA to 1300uA. Brought it down to 28kV to stop sparking. See a response on the EZL frequently.

Tuesday, August 06, 2019, 08:31 : At 33kV, sparked twice in 20mins and was going for another when the protons went off.

With protons off, the bias current dropped quickly from 66uA to 40uA and raising the bias to 40kV was not difficult.  Later bias up to 50kV. Still no conclusion on if the sparking was inside or outside of the vacuum. No vacuum response seems to indicate outside, however the influence of protons would indicate inside. To be investigated visually when TM2 comes to the HC.

Conditioning completed over the weekend by RIB operations. The shutter was left closed on the module, so no beam could be seen on the FC. Conditioning otherwise OK.

Pail 211 which contained Ta#58 spent target was repackaged into Pail 286 in the South Hot Cell.

The dose rate at approx. 1 m was 4.16 mSv/h.

Pail 286 was transferred to the mini-storage vault and placed in the outermost location. The mini-storage vault is full at this time, in preparation for the next shipment.

 TM#4 with Ta#57 has been moved from the conditioning station to the east target station.

Paddle wheel signal was tripping proton beam in ITW. Valved off ITE dump to divert flow to ITW. Field around valve was about 600 uSv/h

 TM#4 with Ta#57 has been moved from the east target station to the south hot cell.

Ta#57 has been removed from TM4.

 The spent Ta#57 target has been moved from the south hot cell to the spent target storage it was placed in pail 174 and placed in spot 8C in the vault. See attached PDF for details.
