IG1S elbow o ring seal and a blank off cap o-ring seal beside the elbow were replaced on ITE entrance module top last Friday. IG1s has a higher than
normal reading so i leak checked entrance module top last Thursday and found leaks to 5x E-8 atm.cc/sec leak on one of (or both of )these two o-rings seals.
they are too close to identify exactly on which one was leaking so both o rings were replaced. other air to vacuum seal on entrance module are leak |

The annual inspection of the main storage vault will be skipped this year since extensive inspection and testing was performed during the re-alignment
job in May (see this e-log for details: e-log 2584). This included successful testing of the emergency
close mechanism. |

The pail handling tool which is used to move 5 gallon pails around the target hall was inspected by A. Newsome. The main tool was checked, but not
the spare as it is currently in a disassembled and unusable state. The tool appears to be in good, working condition. The following items were checked.

5 gallon spent target pail, lifting long pole and hook assembly load test was done by Rupan, Keyur ,and David. Load in pail 101 lbs, test
time 10 minutes. No deform on pail( pail OD 29.8mm is not changed before and after test. The test passed. Also 50 lbs load test on empty tray transit
frame was done. The frame is good on test. Rupan will have a test report on this job. |

ITE:EL has been tripping off due to HV sparks. Usually this also trips ITE:Q1/2. These are sitting in side-by-side racks.
The working theory is that HV sparks are returning to ground through the EL and quads, tripping them off. Possibly this is the result of a changed
low impedance ground path. How this change happened could be either something we did during shutdown or the changes we made in TM3, no clear evidence yet. |

New spring idlers were installed onto rotational chain drive for SHC roof. Operation ran smoothly in both directions to full limit. Chain was noted
to have adequate slack when not on driven side. Periodic checks to confirm operation will continue in the following months to guarantee proper operation. |

D. Wang reports that recently the overhead crane has been exhibiting a delayed start (approx. 1 min) when operating in local mode. This issue applies
to the main hoist's up/down functionality only and does not seem to apply to other motion axes. T. Kauss briefly investigated but did not find any obvious
cause. |

Update 2024-09-12: C. Fisher confirms this is actually normal behaviour. The Y-axis motion is inhibited when X and Z
are in a certain configuration, which was true when the manipulator was mounted on the wall in storage position. Non-issue. A note about this has been
made in the operator manual. |

with the tong motion circuit (no motion on the remote side when handle on operator side operated).
