Aaron Schmidt | | | | | | | Problems/Solutions | FC0 Solenoid Replaced. | Issues with valve operations due to a leak in the solenoid valve above FC0. The HPA leak did not allow for sufficient pressure to remain in the lines to operate. The solenoid as changed this morning.

The coil PS control card is fried. Roughly since the beginning of December. The PS was removed.

New PS was installed on Friday.
Tuesday, February 20, 2024, 08:01: Check Coil not responding.
Tuesday, February 20, 2024, 09:48: System check 2: TGHT / TBHT manually to 5 / 5 A. BIAS / EE / EZL to 1 / -0.5 / 1 kV. Anode to 50 V.
Coil set to 15 A, did not adjust.
Tuesday, February 20, 2024, 12:04: Coil PS SW1-7 switch in was in an "Off" position & wouldn't allow the voltage signal through to the PS. Switched to "on". Coil tapped to 7 A manually & back to 0 A ok.

While attempting to cycle FC0, noticed that the turbo pumps TMS:TP6 & TMS:TP2 were off, with TP2 being tripped off. The vacuum on TMS:CG2A sat around 0.825T although RP2 was running. The ballast plug has since been removed to allow for a 2 hour purge of the roughing pump.
Thursday, February 29, 2024, 13:10: Backing pressure still had not stabilized. RP2 removed & taken to Vacuum Group.

Tip seals were replaced by Vacuum Group. Roughing.
Wednesday, March 06, 2024, 10:31: TMS:TP6 & TMS:TP2 on.
Wednesday, March 06, 2024, 10:49: TP6 has tripped twice. TP2 ok.
Wednesday, March 06, 2024, 12:25: Venting. TP6 is not operating above 3 krpm.
Vacuum Group acquired TP6. It was nearly seized.
Wednesday, March 06, 2024, 14:57: Varian 551 pump installed from the furnace behind the TS. Roughing.

Aaron Schmidt | | | | | | | Problems/Solutions | TSH:EE Issues | Monday, April 15, 2024, 14:33: On Friday it was noted that the EE was being troublesome. If we put -500 V on the EE the PS would deliver -1000 V. However it would slowly trickle downward. elog:1002.
Tom H. had a look at it this afternoon & determined the PS is operating, however the signal going to it is peculiar. Controls group as been notified as well. Awaiting further response.
