Aluminum oxide found inside TSHSV1 and the copper line to TSHUHV1.

SV1 replaced and copper line cleaned.

Monday, July 16, 2012, 15:46: TSGTP1B at speed TSGTP1A timeout.

Monday, July 16, 2012, 15:54: Both turbos at speed. Vacuum 3.6E-5.

Leak found on the Ne supply line. 1E-4 - 1E-5 range. Replaced fittings. Had to use one brass piece. Leak rate 6E-9 (probably due to Ne response). No response to He.

Leak rate around low E-8 with regulation valve open.

When closing the HV rack, an air supply leak developed on the manifold for the valves. Shut off air supply. Valves still operational, but requires opening up air supply to actuate.

 With the help of Rick, the leak was fixed.

The vacuum pump for the gas lines was removed for repairing the leaking hose.

Due to high vacuum a leak check will be done on the system.

Waiting Rick for the fitting on the vacuum pump.

A major leak was found on the connection to the regulation valve on the He bottle. Ferrule replaced. System leak checked.

After He bottle: base 5E-6, no response to He spray

AfterSV1: base 5E-7, no response

After SV2: base 4E-7, no response

The system should now be operational. Gas lines were evacuated with the leak checker.

Gas line vacuum pump reinstalled after fitting was modified to receive a standard swagelok connector. The vacuum line was plumbed using 1/4" copper tube (not Stainless) for the the ability to flex and manipulate the line for pump removal and and insertion.

Test high voltage to 30 kV ok

Test gas valve open at 6.1 V

Test Ne leak ok

Will run test from home.

The ramp up finished.

I have 3.35E-6 Amp out of the source on FC0.

Vacuum  4.3 E-7 T increase Coil current to 40 A. No effect on vac.

Increase coil to 50 A. Vacuum still good.

I will continue from home..

Lost communication with EPICS. Came in reset the ...

So far no luck.

The reset restored the control.

But magnet supply does not put any amperage out.

Try turning it off and on. No chance.

I gave up. See tomorrow.

I went into the can diagnostics panel and reconfigure MB1 power supply.

This worked.

I am done with the FEBIAD test (anode biased)

We will swap the bias now to the cathode and change the polarity to negative.
