Friday, September 23, 2011, 16:3: The connection on the 9-pin connector for FEBIAD targets showed burn marks from the previous FEBIAD tests. Corresponding
mark was found on the connector on the target side. Because of this the upper and lower 9-pin connectors were swapped to have a clean connector for the
next FEBIAD target.

Entry  Monday, September 26, 2011, 16:14, Anders Mjos, , , , , , , Problems/Solutions, Fixed leak on water line for HS, added Kapton insulation Water_Leak.pdfKapton.pdf

While testing SiC#26 a leak was discovered on the water line to the heat shield. The leak was in the right joint (see attachment). The heat
shield water lines were removed from the test stand and repaired in the Machine Shop.
Kapton was added to the FEBIAD coil line to prevent
it from shorting to the target heater line (see attachment).

Wednesday, April 18, 2012, 12:16: TSGRP1 makes unusual noise when attempting to pump down vacuum chamber. Roughing aborted for now. Edi Dalla Valle
is informed. He will have a look at it after lunch.

A chip of insulator material was detected below the lower target insulator stand-off (attachment - left picture). The chip may come from the tube
heater insulator above (attachment - right picture). The chip will be further investigated when the target is removed.

During the mass scan today it was discovered, that the mass calibration was off. Further investigation showed, that the Hall probe readings are a factor
of 1.31 lower than during previous measurements. A fault report has been issued to controls.
